ipods have a much etter infrastructure, ie more people own them and they have much more accessible accessories, and more product selection. but other than that zune completely beats ipod. zunes have radio, wifi(not just for internet), and the new ones have a little loop thing to put a string on (thats what sold me)

I have no reasons for not buying a Zune except for style and hardware. I like iTunes (OK, sometimes I hate it) and I love the way the iPods look. I saw a Zune in a store and, sure, the iPod interface will never be as cool, but the Zune was pretty thick, and the Zune 16s don't have much in the way of screen real estate. I honor Microsoft's attempt at making an MP3 player.

They've already got an on-screen keyboard, and I've got the 120 gig touchpad. It's a perfect combonation. The 120 gig is roughly the same thickness as most Ipods, and has alot more space. It fits perfectly in any pocket, and has some pretty awesome games as well as an FM radio, device store, music, widescreen video and picture, and having your own background is nice, too. And trust me on the internet firmware update that I mentioned, my uncle helps design firmware for the zune.

The Zune interface is really nice, and i give props to microsoft for that. Microsoft are more software designers. I'm sticking with Apple for now.

where is your proof or reasoning of this? my 80gb classic crashed all the time n so did my nano seriously riding my bike down the street n bam! can't listen to my nano till the battery dies this would make sense if it had a hard drive but its static ram! come on! my zune 80 hasnt crashed once no matter how fast i rode my bike and its flawless in terms of firm ware. i think your just a mac fanboy who is going off of what other fanboys tell you
