  • Is there anyone whom is watching this clip able to answer me? Was Tammi Terrill ( with respect to her) drugged to death? Was Kendricks betrayed by The Temps?

  • I agree the Motown Museum is very worth the trip.

  • The 60's look so scary. I guess it's because I was not around. I do not like the fashions, the cars, the whole stuff. I obviously like some of the music.

  • she was so pretty

  • REST IN PEACE MS TAMMI TERRELL AND MR MARVIN GAYE

    SUCH WONDERFUL TALENT.

  • I heard that David Ruffin used to knock her around, too.

  • please have you listened to their harmonies. pure class. we might never see the likes again xx

  • no doubt about it tammi was a looker

  • been crushing on this tammi terrel girl since last night. So adorable.

  • NICK ASHFORD AND VALERIE SIMPSON DID A GREAT JOB WRITING THIS SONG...THEY WROTE MORE SONGS FOR THEM TO SING....TV ONE THANKS SO MUCH FOR UNSUNG!!@ FAMOUS1972 THANKS FOR POSTING!!

  • did you watch "unsung"....James Brown beat her down a flight of stairs because she didn't finish watching his performance when they worked together? WTF? Nobody jumped in to stop it?

  • @EatinCactus That was very sad and hurtful to hear, but unfortunately, that happened a lot back in those days .Even people in our neighborhoods would sit back and watch woman beaten severly and wouldn't do anyhing to stop it. That's just the way it was back then, especially for famous women. Remember what's love got to do with it.

  • @Modelt5000 She's safe now and noone will ever hurt her again. She is very much missed!! Much love Tammi !!! R.I.P.!!!!

  • @EatinCactus That doesnt surprise me. James Brown was a total prick and should be consigned to the trash can for being a total loser. I wont listen to any of his music and it sickens me to see him get accolades and adoration. Imagine beating up a lovely girl like this. What an absolute jerk.

  • @voiceofreesun I thought she was beaten up by her Boxer husband

  • @lindsay3640 I dont know. I was just reading the comments and a few people mentioned James Brown beating her up for not staying for his whole performance or something. Thats sad if she was also beaten by her husband. A boxer huh! What a "big man" NOT. Poor girl.

  • @voiceofreesun Why such animosity towards James Brown?

  • @KrfNYC2 I think it's fairly obvious don't you? I can't stand cowardly men who beat up on women just because they can and with any lame excuse. JB sounds like a particularly arrogant and mean specimen of woman-basher. I have no interest in "music" from someone as soul-less and emotionally bankrupt as that. Funny how Chris shares more than his last name isn't it.

  • @voiceofreesun What I'm saying is don't be so judgemental. Things are not always as they seem. As a matter of fact, I find that they often aren't. Try to exercise understanding. I hope you already are. Peace.

  • Famous This was just great. This is a great tribute to two superstars.

  • this is absolutely the most hot intense video ever with class. the looks and the interplay is sizzling

  • She was just the smoothest chick ever!!!!

  • awsesome , and yes the trip to Motown Museum is well worth the trip

  • Great job, Famous 1972! :D

  • She upstages marvin on this song.

  • this is awesome would like to see a supremes video like this with flo mary and diana :)

  • I just love the bit at 1:35 when Marvin goes woooooh!

  • Great remix, outstanding song. Thank you!

  • At 00:40, u see tammi flick marvin's chin, then they eye each other with that sexy look lol, u can tell they really liked each other, may they both rest in peace

  • Well done!

  • this is one of my first 45 records. I have always loved it so much.

  • I had this record! Awesome

  • Sex and love are not, only physical

Marvin and Tammi proved that a long time ago!!!

  • Grammy for Tammi Terrell now

  • YES, YES, PLEASE YES!!!!

  • @tassoss1 No let's get her in the rock hall of fame

  • After hearing and watching Marvin with Tammi, I really believe that he feel for her. I can see it and feel it when they sung together. After all she was a beautiful woman and I guess Marvin could only take so much. I also believe that 's when Marvin's troubles began with his then wife Anna Gordy long before he married Jan Hunter. Marvin and Tammi were a dynamic signing duo. They sung from their hearts. Any one could see that. They are both missed!

  • Perfection!

  • this song is timeless!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ain't no mountain was recorded very well with two different styles. And both vesions (Marvin & Tammi +Diana Ross) were timeless!

  • when she sings "My love is alive" and he says "whoo" I get chills

  • yeah i feel the same things

  • i agree , (they were a dynamic duo )

  • @drummike77 me too

  • tammi was a beautiful person....she seemed like a lot of fun!

and marvin was just marvin...so sexxy

  • sageofferings (and others), they were a wonderfully romantic couple to watch perform but it's been documented far and wide for many years that Temptation singer David Ruffin was Tammy's love interest at Motown, and that she and Marvin only had a great, close platonic friendship. The body and eye language on film that convinced some otherwise is from their being awesome performers.

  • NICE!!!

  • Sage, you are on the money with that comment! It certainly wasn't just a studio /stage relationship! But hey! Two good looking people in close proximity are sure to set the hormones raging! Far too short a time together and yet they made beautiful songs.

  • their together in heaven making beautiful music now

  • Peep the way she eyes Marvin up & down in the beginning of this footage. Looks don't lie! Body language don't lie! They got in On..in more ways than one! I don't care Who says differently. I love 'em.

  • its always good when youre listen to that in a movie

  • que bonita era.que guapa

  • they look sooo good together. they had such excellent chemistry..!! u could see the sparks flying !

  • Tammy had sex appeal... She was one of God's most beautiful souls....

  • Tammi just shines with that undefinable light that stars have. She was beautiful, she had the most amazing voice - and she captues your attention on video in the same way the likes of Diana Ross does. Thats a rare quality. Who knows where that bright light may have taken here in the 70's? God belss you, Tammi

  • And the hits just keep on comin'. Great vid.

  • Watching Marvin and Tammi together is MAGICAL. Here, Tammi proves she was the HOTNESS and this video remix is GREAT!

  • good video, and the music and Marv and Tam are fantastic...gosh, it was good to be a teenager during the 60s! brings back so many good-time memories!

  • Lol, just noticed the black and white picture in the booth window of Berry. That picture was actually taken in the edit room in the back of the studio just to the rear right of where the camera stood. Haha, thats cool.

  • that was 2 minutes and 19 seconds of happy feelins'. "thank you for posting!"

  • najpiękniejsza piosenka

  • nice clip, i like both vids to this song, but i think she looks better with long hair

  • I love the little dance that Tammi did... That is so cute... (from 0:41 to 0:53)

  • I think it's cute too!!!!

  • seeing them perform always makes me smile especially mrs terell even thought im 29 i studied motown i used to go get books to read the hsitory and i bought old classic records and old motown movies and now even i read up on mrs ballard and mrs terell i appreciate them more.
