@KibleKat Post-Hardcore is actually subgenre of Punk Rock. It's supposed to be a more artistic, serious evolution of Hardcore, hence the -post suffix, meaning 'after'. Modern post-hardcore borrows a lot of elements from Metalcore (and vice-versa), though, a fusion of Hardcore and Metal, which can cause a lot of confusion.

Okay, let me start by saying that I get all my music off iTunes or from the store. However, saying that "it helps the band out" by buying the mp3's as opposed to just downloading them for free is a pointless argument. I think it's something like 80% of the proceeds from the music goes to the record company, not the band. If you want to support the band, you buy merch and go to shows, that pretty much all goes to the band.
