Stevie is playing a chromatic harmonica, which means he can play all of the notes in the scale, All 11 notes, so he can play in every key. the sharps and the flats, like all black and white keys on the piano, the button raises the pitch to the next note above. diatonic harmonicas, you can only play in one Key, E, A, D, etc. like blues harps, where they have to bend the notes,
