  • @NYCParkourAddict GREAT SCOTT, MARTY!

  • @danerogil Lol haha.

  • There are few movies in this world I would call "Perfect." Few films so beautiful, with such a great plot, great characters, great acting, great music, and a great story, I would say cannot be improved. This is one of them. I get chills whenever chief lifts up that sink. McMurphy gave him strength, the greatest gift of all. He turned him from a deaf cleaning aid, into a real man. Keep runnin' chief! you fooled 'em all!

  • whats the meaning of this ending?

  • brilliant movie...one of the best ever made.....and absolute brilliant performer!!

  • :P

  • the part when he killed mcmurphy i cryed\

  • Great movie

  • I cried at that ending, but like other said, with a huge smile, happy and sad, in peace and angry at the same time...

this video motivated me into going to get the book at the library, thx :')

  • The only ending that can bring tears to your eyes while having a huge smile on your face!!!!

  • best movie ebding ever.. ever

  • I could not believe this ending. I was laughing my head off through this entire movie and then all of a sudden it turned into this hideous tragedy that I just did not see coming at all - no one does. You get this jaw dropping double slam and you're just left in horror and disbelief. I've never read the book, but as is usually the case, it's probably even better. In this case, a masterpiece. Crazy is in the eye of the beholder, indeed.

  • @66912280 ya true who would guess on their first watch without reading the book

  • @66912280 I read the book at school. It was part of the curriculum! I also saw the film shortly after. They are both brilliant. There is so much in the book that could never be portrayed in film, but the Chief is the central character, and the book is written in the first person. Not only that, it's written in the present tense.

The film is outstanding, and one of the things it conveys well is the fact that in the book, the Chief only comes alive when he meets McMurphy.

  • @chavrecycling You're lucky - I wish I had been required to read this when I was in school. Now it seems the only books I have time for are the ones I can listen to on tape in the car. After I watched this clip about a month ago I made a mental note to check the library to see if they had it. I forgot but your message reminded me (Thanks!). I'm driving to Hilton Head next week so I'm going to check to see if the library has it. I think it'd be a good book to listen to on the drive down.

  • I just cried

  • Never look back, Cheif. Never.

  • This is so fucking epic.

  • The ending to this film.... amazing..... Pulp fiction is ranked 5 and Schindler's List is ranked 7 and One flew over the Cuckoo's nest is ranked 8 instead of 1... This is a funny world we are living....

  • The chief is an amazing cuntychop.

  • anyone know exactly why chief was in there in the first place?

  • @werellstupid Killed his father, or something like that.

  • @Ramaz no he didn't kill his father man. I don't remember why he's in there, but his dad drank himself to death or something.

  • Great movie. I remember seeing it at the cinema here in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1986, when Soviet Union was already on its way to dissolution. The movie was filmed in 1976 I think but they allowed it in Soviet Union only in 1986. I was 17 years old then and I cannot even express what everybody felt after the film ended.

  • @Ramaz1969 it must've been like what so many people wanted to do in the USSR at that time, but couldn't
