This is a reality that is still ignored by too many people, unfortunately. And I know it's hard to believe at first because we all know Japan as a civilized nation, democratic, with a high quality of life, where human rights are respected . But well... For a parent, having your child taken away is probably the most terrible and painful thing that can happen. IT'S GOTTA STOP, IT'S A CRIME ! ! ! Get the word out!

What is your government doing about it? I assume you showed them the proof, so the wheels should be in motion. Are they talking to the Japanese about it?

I've seen the page now. Really hard to believe for a Japan fan like me. I once had a love story with a Jap girl, but I'm still shocked by some processes of J. culture. There is so much you have to know about laws... Foreigners are very few in camparison to other countries, but if this problem comes up it means it is often the case that this happens in a Jap-foreign marriage! This is scary!
