You should probably check with the Sciton engineers as these will be changing according to the tissue responses they would like to induce. Sorry to be so vague, but this is a great company, and they intend to get it right.
No company knows the optimal parameters yet for any of these devices. But for sure these are interesting technologies, and they induce nice results
As expected, the engineers at Sciton have jumped on this an an appropriate response to some of the recent discussions. I have not had enough long term experience yet with the beta version, but it is likely to make this more effective than the current version of the ProFractional device. In my opinion ... Sciton is a responsible and reliable company, ethical, great engineering, all the things you want to hear when considering purchasing a device.
Does Fraxel have proprietary licenses on all the fractional scanning-delivery technologies?? Or is the stamping-delivery format just preferred by all the other laser companies? I must say the scanning technology in Fraxel seems to have many advantages! Even if the erbium laser is itself less effective . . .
I am not sure that the final result is affected by whether the laser is scanned or stamped. But the speed with which one can lay down over 2000 micro ablative zones (MAZs) per cm2 with the Reliant device is extraordinary, and is associated with a very uniform appearance. Reliant apparently holds patents on their proprietary scanning device, but not over the stamped devices.
oye tremensa maquina
con eso te ases rico@
nadie quiere estar arugao como un papel .
me imagino el resultado .
oye eso eso esta buenisimo de pelicula!

What are your impressions from the beta version of Profractional(with coag mode)?

What was the downtime for this treatment?
charrychavel 4 years ago
About 3-7 days, depending on the aggressiveness of the treatment

Do you know if Sciton would add a coagulation option on the Profractional device as it is on Contour?
charrychavel 4 years ago
Absolutely. I am assessing their beta version of the coag mode next week .... stand by for my comments .....

That's a lot of blood for a fractional treatment!
patchyotoole 4 years ago
Indeed. And that is why Sciton is making a 'hot' ProFractional device that should bleed less, and induce more contraction.
