The series itself lasts 24 episodes with a couple of DVD-only episodes in between (eg. episode 16.5). I wouldn't recommend this series if you have a high standard for anime, as this is one of Gonzo's more notably QUALITY shows where, although things may look great at the start, the series quickly loses steam.

I personally liked it, but that's just me.
