Remember in Assassin's Creed 2, there was that one viewpoint that you couldn't climb unless you learned this jump? It pissed people off. And here with this one, you can't climb the viewpoint until you destroy the Borgia tower, and it's possible that that section is still locked for some people, and they wouldn't know that. You'd think they would learn and put a (Cannot be accessed at this time) or SOME kind of note pointing out that you can't climb the damn thing.

@Fficient I know this might no longer be useful to you, but for others' sake, it has a wall, because it hasn't yet been unlocked in the story, just progress further in the story and the wall will disappear.

I gave up trying after I saw architect. He was like "I can't repair this" (Borgia tower was still there). So I waited until the area was unlocked, destroyed tower and came back to the place.

This video is very decent idea. Perfect for all persistent people, who tried to get to this viewpoint in the beginning of the game.

You have to do this at least lvl 6 after the level defending the gates then ignite the tower.

I learned that the hard way - I was riding away from a bunch of guards on an armored horse - and one of the Agiles (the freerunning guards who can run really fast) was KEEPING UP with my armored horse for minutes on end. He could have even caught me, and I had to zigzag to keep him from doing that. A guy on FOOT was running faster than my horse and keeping up forever!!!

There is a way to get up there. Find the end of the aqueduct, then there is a column next to it, get on top of the tower then jump up.

there are many ways to get up there besides the ladder.

the borgia tower near the aqueduct-glyph lets u jump on the aqueduct and climb it, and i think its possible to climb it at every point the aqueduct ends into a well on the ground (not 100% sure about this, but it works on the borgia-flag location).
