At 0:46 when Miss Piggy said "cancel the show", it was a bad time to try to cancel the show since the whole audience was there, and they probably wouldn't of gotten their money back, and of course Dr. Teeth and his band were almost near the end of the intro song. It probably would look strange if one of them came out behind the curtain and said "stop playing the music, ladies and gentlemen we are canceling the show because of a problem (just not mentioning Kermit's name), drive home safely."
This is one of my favorite scenes in all Muppet History. When Kermit still has memory loss and never remembers being in love with Miss Piggy and then makes fun of her and then Miss Piggy knocks some sence into him and brings back his memory.
That curly hair Miss Piggy has, is and was one of the biggest hair styles for women in the 80s and 90s. In the 70s Miss Piggy had straight hair and in the 2000s, she went back to straight hair.
@1985Nebraska There is no doubt that Kermit and Miss Piggy are one of those power couples that have gone down in history (like Donald and Daisy Duck), but you have to wonder if Miss Piggy's "you love me" statement was a little embellished. In one of the episodes of the Muppet Show, it was revealed that Miss Piggy was always telling gossip magazines that she and Kermit were secretly married.
"HAH! WAIT 'TIL I TELL THE GUYS IN MARKETING! HAHAHA!"

I love the stiff way of talking Kermit has as "Phil". It sort of shows how he became a corporate drone.
