I caught this video in January but still come back to visit from time to time. Despite all the Obama videos I've seen, this one is still my favorite (but "Vote Different" is close, yet for different reasons). This video never fails to soothe me when things get tough.
Obama will be our FDR. He's campaigning in FDR's fashion, I might add. Visionary, anyone? Uplift the nation from the bottom up? Re-build our once-great infrastructure?
I find this video to be creative, inspiring and very uplifting, especially in the times we're living. It's nice to hear something positive. Continue making vidoes because your design mix is effective.
great video, btw, i should have said, and beautiful, and i too love his history... that is what makes america... and that is amazing... "We gather to affirm the greatness of our nation..." and for all the right reasons when you listen to him... "all men are created equal"
It goes without saying really, but Obama is the One. Hillary lacks something that he has - many things, I think. I don't think she's "evil", i just strongly think he is a far better diplomat, ushers in the spirit of the new and the Now, and has an energy about him that is just terrific and invigorating. Listen to Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes, Wake Up Everybody... it reminds me of him...
We thought you would be interested to find out who we voted for- a revolutionary with compelling vision. A visionary on the side of all people, including Inventors. This is the man the cynics said would never raise the money. He raised the money. Then they said he couldn't get the delegates. He is getting the delegates. Thank you, Virginia, Ohio, and Texas! Show us some love!

Wow, A little over the top I think. You are playing Obama up to be a god or something. You really think he has the ability to change the system? I doubt that, thats why I am voting H.R.C. She is by far the better one.
I don't think that Barack can change the system alone, it will take a movement and people willing to take an active roll in our Govt, which Clinton doesn't have. I never ever engaged myself like this when her husband was the president, but you can bet that I will be paying attention from now on. We need people willing to keep the status quo in check and make sure they are doing what is best for the people and not special interests. I look forward to the day Barack Obama is sworn into office.
What Hillary CANNOT DO is move peoples hearts. What she cannot do, is move people emotionally with her words or her actions.
Obama has this power - and it is something that Hillary does not have, and will never have. She is cold and ruthless. Just ask Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, and many others.
so i cant have the ability to find something cheesey? how stupid. and i used to be an obama supporter, after carefully reading up on all the candidates i found that hillary was the best candidate to defeat the republicans. if obama cant defeat a corrupt dirty woman like hillary, how is he to take on the republicans?
and i do learn facts on my own as opposed to being inspired by a youtube video.
We are all citizens of this great nation, and Barack Obama is the man to lead us. I understand that you want to support your candidate, but the only thing you will find here is HOPE.
Why I support Barack Obama: He did not vote for the War in Iraq. He is brilliant. He can unite the people of the United States. His multi-culture origins allows him to have a better understanding of others (like in "other countries", other "human beings", other "cultures") I believe he is truly the "chosen" One and the only candidate who can bring real changes in domestic politics and priorities as well as foreign policies to restore confidence with our allies.
I love what Barack Obama stands for. It is time for a change. His wife is awesome to, I listen to her the other night. My prayer is that he does get elected. LAC
Literally moving!! I'm in tears! What a wonderful way to show your support for such a great man!!! Visit barack obama dot com for his policies and read his Blueprint for Change!
If you have any questions about Obama's true story, ideas, plans, background, etc., you can find out all of it at barack obama dot com. It also has hundreds of supporters blogging there, so you can find out why his supporters feel the way they do. It's passion they feel for him, as well as patriotism and pride.
Anyone with a true understanding of this great nation's heritage and a sense of idealistic patriotism would have a heart of stone to not be moved by this video.
I sincerely believe that Barack Obama is a God sent. The world is in such peril right now.His unique heritage and background are amazing! he can unify us. I'm hopeful.
Regardless of an Obama or Clinton victory, the mere probability is an omen that white male Christian are losing their iron-tight grip on this nation. Denial is a chorus being sung across the nation by a group of people who have long enjoyed the privileges of a system crumbling under the weight of disparity; like the bellicose moans of prehistoric animals relinquishing their last gasps of breath to a changing environment. Vote Obama!!!!!!!
Great video. I think you should send it to be use in the campaign. Finally, someone has express what America should be. And we need a highly intelligent man with a great deal of moral values as a leader to make the ideals come true.
I am a true believer in Barack Obama..Here is a charismatic, intelligent and down to earth man..I truly believe in my heart that CHANGES will occur with him as our President...THE TIME IS NOW!!!! We cannot allow the lowdown trickeries, dirty tactics and manipulative schemes to divert our attention span..We must fight the hatred and racism in this country..THE TIME IS NOW!!!!Barack Obama for President in 2008..THE TIME IS NOW!!!!
Obama is so presidential. He is the best thing that has happened to America in a very long time. Let's spread the word! He makes me proud to be an American
Now, more than ever, I believe Barack Obama is the ONLY candidate that can unite America. Because the United States is not about Democrats or about Republicans, it is about everyone. Barack Obama is the only candidate that can unite everyone, regardless of party affiliation.
Barack Obama WILL NOT need a Democratic majority in Congress to bring about change. He will unite both parties and independents, and bring about change.
AMERICA WANTS OBAMA in the biggest way. Calling on all Americans to fight back the NEGATIVITY of the CLINTON MACHINE to put OBAMA, Michelle and family in the people's house. NEW YORK LOVES OBAMA!!
I LOVE the first picture of the native american leaders superimposed above Mt. Rushmore. Having recently studied the Lakota indians, I understand the profundity of that image.
All the cynics said he wouldn't win in Iowa too. His win in Iowa confirmed it isn't about race anymore...that's a 92% white state...old state...conservative state! No, after George Bush people want real change in any color.
Yeah, I'm going to vote for Obama because of a music video? This is ridiculous. Look at his voting record, the guy will have government intruding into every aspect of our lives (even more). He is a socialist. If he is voted in, expect higher taxes, no choice of healthcare unless it is through the government, stupid global warming legislation to stop something we can't stop. This is true for any of the Democrats on the ticket.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Yes, I will vote, but not for Obama. Yes, he is an inspiring speaker, but it takes more than that to be president. I won't vote for him because of his inexperience and policies.
inexperience? Guess who the most "experienced" guy is the White House is-- Dick Cheney. Experience, IMO, is WAY overrated... Obama has experience actually working with people and building consensus which is what this country needs right now...
We can argue "til the cows come home", and I know I won't change your mind and you won't change mine. I just don't think Obama is all he is being hyped to be. Once again, look at his record, look at the policies he is proposing. Same old leftist ideas that have failed over and over.
Eight years in Chicago politics? He's held elected office more years than Clinton. His policies? Well designed to compromise with moderate conservatives. He's wise beyond his years.
I'm so NOT suprised the uninformed public can't be bothered to read the truth about his vast lifetime of personal and professional politics.
I hear you! Obama is the American dream right now! His and ours. After hearing his speech when winning Iowa, I felt proud to be American again! It has been so long since I felt that way.
It is an exciting time and I have more HOPE now! Words of hope do work against all odds!
Good freakin' grief, I have chills. And I'm a lifelong Republican. (The truth.) His "story" is so inspiring. I'm terrified that this guy might actually have me pulling the lever for a Democrat for the first time in my life. This man is special.
That's the great thing! Obama can help us build a consensus to fight our worst problems. Maybe we can finally have an era of politics in which we are not ashamed to vote for someone of the other party.
It is possible. I thought that there was absolutely he could win for so long but that kind of changed. Especially since he won Iowa. No offence to the people there, but they are known for being rednecks (not just my words, but everyone elses in my school). If Iowa voted for Obama then I'm sre many others will too. plus, he is definately the stongest democratic candidate so far.
Congratulations Mr Man :-) You are the Man :-) Very , Very Good .
Let us Keep hope Alive . I still beleive we have that hope in both candidates Hillary & Obama so it is still early for the World to decide . Thanks again Bjarne
Excuse me rb6153... Obama will overcome RACIST like u... God bless this country, and God bless Senator Obama... and God bless u, and I'll pray that u will someday stop spewing hatred and lies... even though I back the good Dr (Ron Paul) I have so much respect for Barack Obama... and he is no Marxist, and neither am I. U my friend, are an agent of intolerance...
Bjarne O, I don't know how I missed this previously but am SO glad I got to see it now, in the post-Iowa Caucus glow! This is the most beautiful, moving video I have seen yet on Barack and the music is just extraordinarily beautiful! What a talent you are! Thank you!
I believe this young man was sent to do a job,and will push the people who undoubtably will try and stop him, like they did hillary and her healthcare in 92.
Barack and all Americans
after a greedy and viscious attack on what had worked well for 200 years.
I believe him,Americans first, and as far as other countries go,they won't know what to make of him,it won't be LA DE DA, nicies as usaual,America first, friends or foes.
You can't sit at the front of the bus. You can't drink from the same water fountains as us. You can't serve in the military. You can't go to school with us. You can't work with you. Can't. Can't. Can't is what's BS here, buddy.
blue2lv, what "qualified" George W to be president? His stupid decisions as a baseball General Manager? His piss poor record as governor of Texas? What exactly qualifies somebody as president? Obama graduated from Harvard without help from connections. Obama has years of experience in the real world, not the looney world that exists in Washington D.C. or in George W. Bush's head.
Wow, you did an awesome job making this video. Normally I don't feel very emotional about political or even 'patriotic' stuff, but you got me feeling emotional--you expressed our hope of having such a president. At first when I saw Rushmore, which usually fills me with resentment, I was expecting something different, but then you included the real "founding fathers" image. Thank you for that...for remembering our true heritage. (Can you tell me what the 2 main songs you used are? Great music.)
Thanks a lot. The music I made is one piece called "The Obama Portrait" and can be downloaded for free in high quality from my website. Click "Download FREE ALBUMS" on the front page and the "OBAMA" button on the new page. If you want a high res version of the Video, click "MORE Videos" om my front page. Enjoy and thanks again. Bjarne O.
Unite. Listen to those who would debate with you, show them your understanding and abiding belief that we all share deep common beliefs that unite us as Americans.
I've shared this video with everyone I know. They've replied with tremendous gratitude. They're now sharing with friends and family and suggesting to send out as gifts for the holidays. Yes, great reception because this could be the greatest gift AMERICA could receive.
Barack is America's greatest hope. Not since JFK has a canidate been able to unite us as a nation, and given the opportunity, maybe the world. I'm fired up! He's ready to go! God bless us all!
We will not have this chance again. A great man is offering to carry this country forward to reclaim what we have lost. Thank you for this inspiring work.
I am continually so impressed and proud of Obama supporters. Thank you for helping to spread the word about this amazing man. Please, PLEASE let nothing stop you from getting to the polls and making sure this translates into having Barack as president and finally taking our country back!
The Good people of America, you've got so much work to do to make sure that this guy's saves this planet. Barack is not known to the entire America, IT is a fact that he does not have the Black vote because black leaders in your country are confused to whether to support Hillary or Obama it indeed a pity.but i've got news for you guys. We do not need black votes rather what we need are human beings who believe in something good, truth & justice to vote for Obama.
This is SURPERB! He is America's HOPE....I just wish every single American could look deeply into this mans eye's, as they shake his hand and he answers their questions, as I have. If this were done then the election, he would win hands down....this man IS the real deal. PEACE all.
Beautiful- This proves why this campaign stands apart- we were all inspired by Barack, and now we work individually to keep each other inspired- thanks
Yes, more Barack, less music. You're on the right track with an awesome candidate. And won't you be proud as you help him to get elected with this tribute of yours! Andrew L.
Perhaps it is presently a bit too long for a tv spot, but here in South Carolina we are starting to use the free downloaded high-quality stereo version from the composer's website in DVD form to show at house parties. Even people who knew nothing at all about Obama have been moved. It is an uplifting and informative campaign tool - please SPREAD THE WORD!
I will do everything in my power to see that Barack Obama is the next President. He will be the next president because of a million others just like me.
This video captures the essence of Barack Obama and his reason for running for President. It reminds us what America once was and again can be. I wish we could play it on national television for everyone to experience.
Excellent!! Both thrilling and informative, should be a wonderful way for many people to meet Barack. This really fills you with hope for the future - and hope for the White House!
I think Bjarne has perfectly captured in his video Obama's message of hope and unity by combining his soaring music with images of Barack and his family, landmark sites of our beautiful country and excerpts from Barack's famous 2004 Democratic convention speech. Uplifting and inspiring!!
Haha i wonder if people still think Obama is a great president and man now?

Wow, A little over the top I think. You are playing Obama up to be a god or something. You really think he has the ability to change the system? I doubt that, thats why I am voting H.R.C. She is by far the better one.
johnnyquest2009 4 years ago

"this video is cheesy" illustrates the mentality necessary to vote for HRC.
HRC supporters = fat media-fed sheep with zero ability to learn the facts on their own
ljf02f 4 years ago 2
so i cant have the ability to find something cheesey? how stupid. and i used to be an obama supporter, after carefully reading up on all the candidates i found that hillary was the best candidate to defeat the republicans. if obama cant defeat a corrupt dirty woman like hillary, how is he to take on the republicans?
and i do learn facts on my own as opposed to being inspired by a youtube video.
thanks. good luck feb. 5th.

Why I support Barack Obama: He did not vote for the War in Iraq. He is brilliant. He can unite the people of the United States. His multi-culture origins allows him to have a better understanding of others (like in "other countries", other "human beings", other "cultures") I believe he is truly the "chosen" One and the only candidate who can bring real changes in domestic politics and priorities as well as foreign policies to restore confidence with our allies.

ljf02f 4 years ago
Regardless of an Obama or Clinton victory, the mere probability is an omen that white male Christian are losing their iron-tight grip on this nation. Denial is a chorus being sung across the nation by a group of people who have long enjoyed the privileges of a system crumbling under the weight of disparity; like the bellicose moans of prehistoric animals relinquishing their last gasps of breath to a changing environment. Vote Obama!!!!!!!

Yes, I will vote, but not for Obama. Yes, he is an inspiring speaker, but it takes more than that to be president. I won't vote for him because of his inexperience and policies.
napfan1959 4 years ago
inexperience? Guess who the most "experienced" guy is the White House is-- Dick Cheney. Experience, IMO, is WAY overrated... Obama has experience actually working with people and building consensus which is what this country needs right now...
hrudiger 4 years ago 5
We can argue "til the cows come home", and I know I won't change your mind and you won't change mine. I just don't think Obama is all he is being hyped to be. Once again, look at his record, look at the policies he is proposing. Same old leftist ideas that have failed over and over.
napfan1959 4 years ago
Eight years in Chicago politics? He's held elected office more years than Clinton. His policies? Well designed to compromise with moderate conservatives. He's wise beyond his years.
I'm so NOT suprised the uninformed public can't be bothered to read the truth about his vast lifetime of personal and professional politics.

Good freakin' grief, I have chills. And I'm a lifelong Republican. (The truth.) His "story" is so inspiring. I'm terrified that this guy might actually have me pulling the lever for a Democrat for the first time in my life. This man is special.

That is exactly what the cynics want us to believe, that it is not possible, that we are not ready, that it is not yet time...
As for myself I have decided not to believe that, I have decided to make it posible now, not tomorrow.
Wish you allow yourself to be part of the change also. It is only you who is able to do it.
elshisu 4 years ago 4
It is possible. I thought that there was absolutely he could win for so long but that kind of changed. Especially since he won Iowa. No offence to the people there, but they are known for being rednecks (not just my words, but everyone elses in my school). If Iowa voted for Obama then I'm sre many others will too. plus, he is definately the stongest democratic candidate so far.

blue2lv, what "qualified" George W to be president?
