Congratulation! The newly wed bowed 4 times in front of Ancestor Altar very correctly. Suggestion parents should bowed 4 times first the son and daughter in law, another missed the newly wed must be knee face to face and bow 1 time.
Fun couple bowed 4 times to Ancestor Altar is correctly. Congratulation! But parents should bowed 4 times first to ask Ancestor to accept newly wed. One more thing a couple should knee face to face to bow 1 time.
2:07. Hehe. He liked it so he put a ring on it. LOL. WOW. I am blown away by how beautiful the whole thing was. Thanks for sharing. I loved how you guys honored your heritage and it was really beautiful. I also really liked the advise that his mom gave about being life friends and a team no matter what. The first thing I noticed is that both the parents are still together and I thought was awesome and that's wisdom for anybody getting married. Thank you thank you! :-)
@Maximas777 This was our 1st wedding - the Vietnamese one. This was the least costly of the 3. All of the staging, sound, lights and decor, I own, since I do events and I am a speaker. The emcee and officiant are my professional speaker friends. We had a lot of inside talent. The big wedding below costs bucks.
In Asian cultures, especially China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, one must always accept gift or present with both hands, as in the case of parents receiving cup of wine, not in one hand.
@jupitermoon10011 oh I only notice after u said. I guess it's western influence. I notice myself sometimes give or accept things from older people with one hand, and feel bad about it.
Hi I'm about to film a vietnamese wedding (with morning ceremonies) in may. Do you have any advice for me? How many cameras did you use? How many lights did you have in the house? And was the audio coming in through the camera mics or did you mic anyone? Thanks!
Asian women are wonderful.

Jolene looks like a Mexican. No such thing as a virgin Vietnamese woman these days.

Do you mind if I ask how much your wedding cost? Like everything from food, to transportation and all that jazz? It looked amazing by the way!
