  • I've not read about fairies in the Bible, but it does change lives and He has made a new creation out of me. PTL!

  • So you've been re-created by something that you haven't even read?

  • LOL. I blocked that person and didn't even respond to the comment =)

  • why do you people keep discussing such an outdated book of fairytales?

  • there were many disciples, but 12 apostles.

  • There were 12 disciples at that time. Now, we're all disciples of Christ. And some people are called to be apostles.

  • There were more then 12 disciples at that time. Matthias was one of them.

  • I guess I should clarify. Matthias was chosen as the replacement for Judas. So there were only 12 that were hand-picked by Jesus =)

  • You are confusing the words disciple and apostle. The two words mean different things. They called apostles only after Christ's resurrection, but called the 12 befor that.

  • I'm going to disagree and leave it at that. I don't debate.

  • Adam & Lilith.

  • Huh?

  • Adam and Eve. For a help mate. Noah. It never rained. ?. Gen and Deutt. Moses. God. 66. Authors ?. 12 disciples. Fruits (many).

  • Geez. I don't even remember the questions anymore =/

  • (Oh,good comments still work here, and i can add to the thread!)

One of my most memorable summers was one spent in Chicago helping out at Jesus People USA, where they minister to lots of homeless people.

    Even those with *LICE* YEEOWZUH!

  • Anyone ever given homeless to eat in person? Most people still don't know it's meaning (compare Matthew,NT 25:35-45 please), UNDISPENSABLE knowledge for all. Anybody please don't miss to do that sometimes.

  • Absolutely! I given food to many homeless people. Good word!

  • O.O

  • x_x

  • According to the Bible, should you be killed for doing this on a Sunday?

  • If you followed pharisees instead of Jesus, yes there would be a penalty.

  • I want my rib back!!! j/k I like women around.

  • No rib for you! (that was in Soup Nazi voice) =P

  • Ah, shoot. What can ya expect from SPARE PARTS, HA, HA, HA, HEE-HEE, HO-HO!!! ROFLMBO!!! ; )

  • Yeah, well you're missing a rib!

  • I am? How's that, since my name isn't "Adam", and I don't live in the 1st Century B.C.? Oh, we've got one less than YOU guys do? (Men, etc.) Sigh....oh well, at least we make SENSE, ha, ha, ha!!! ROFL! ; ) Maybe the first woman made wasn't named Eve? How about "Oops"?!! > ; )

  • If you were in front of my right now, I'd smack you upside the head!

  • "If you were in front of my right now"....Do tell, Miss Biblegirl7, WHAT is your "right now"?!! Hint: check your typos! ; ) LOL!

  • Haven't you heard the one about the man who asked God to build him a road from California to Hawaii, because air & sea travel were NOT an option for him because of motion sickness? God said, "Hmmm...that's a might big request....what else could I do for you?" The man answered, "Make me understand EVERYTHING about women!" God's reply: "Did you say you wanted a 2-LANE or a 4-LANE?" ROFLH! (Rolling On Floor, Laughing Hysterically!) > ; )

  • Heck, I don't understand me. What makes you think a man could?

  • Uh...because we're "tactical" and used to being in "COMBAT"?!! =: O Yes, y'all SHOULD come with a warning sign that says: "WARNING: Mind subject to change WITHOUT notice. Batteries not included. No warranty, no returns. You married her? Oh well, suck it up & DEAL with it, Jack!" > : )

  • Why do you need a warning sign? Apparently you're already aware of this. Maybe it's time to just DEAL with it :P

  • Ahem, Biblegirl7! My dear, sweet sister in the Lord! Please note that I am NOT MARRIED....yet, anyway! ; ) However, being a Nurse, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that I'm SURROUNDED by women for 12 hrs a NIGHT! (Or day, when I work days.) Oh well, it's okay. The Lord says He WILL "give strength to the WEARY."!!! ROFL!! >; )

  • Hmph. Well try being a woman when men get together around a TV screen to act like cavemen, over an inanimate object (some type of ball, usually) The turn into neanderthals! Trust me. From an outside perspective, testosterone ain't pretty!

  • I agree about the TV screen, inanimate object (one for of a ball or another?!!) and that's one thing I'm not really into, which may surprise you! Now, if it's a Bike Meet or rally, especially if most of them (men AND women) are riding a HARLEY? That's a different matter!!! ; ) Ever been around a bunch of women arguing & fussin' at each other? THAT'S not TOO pretty, either, wouldn't you agree?!! ; ) LOL!

  • Nope. That's not pretty either. I just walk away. I really hate drama.

  • Yeah, like I've still been getting a few responses from our "Evolution is real & God isn't" YouTubers, so I've ignored the posts & blocked the senders. Seems like that should fix the problem, right? > ; ) Hope you have a blessed day! Take care! : )

  • hahaha

  • It had never rained before!

  • =)

  • Woo! Bible Quiz!

    1. Adam and Eve!!

    2. Adam was created first. Eve was created to be a helper and a companion for him.

    3. Noah Built the Arc

Im not entirely sure about the bonus question. Is it that it was 150 m long or 15 m high because it would be hard for him to build it (unless he had a crane!)

  • 4. 1) have no other gods 2) have no idols 3)don't take his name in vain 4)keep the sabbath holy 5)honour your father and mother 6)do not murder 7)do not adulter 8)do not steal 9)love your neighbor 10)do not be jealous of your neighbor

    5. Exodus... and another one... is it deuteronomy?

    6. moses... and possibly aaron.

    God wrote it down.

  • 7. 67?

    8. No idea

    9. 12 (or many many if you count all followers)

    10. Love joy patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self control

    (Bonus question: Galatians 5(more)

Wow that was fun! thanks :)

  • I like your answer on #9. I should have asked for the original number of disciples :)

  • 10 is like wrong and isnt there old testament and new testement or something lol

  • what do you mean isnt there old/new testiment

  • #7 sitn there jsut two

  • you're right but there are various books in the old testiment (genisis, exodus, numbers, leviticus, deuteronomy etc) and then the new testiment (or the good news) is like the gospels and letters so theres matthew, mark, luke, john , romans, acts etc and they're all seperate books.:)

  • lol cool.

  • 2 books of the Bible? No. 66. Divided into Old Testament and New Testament (Old Law and New Law)

  • I think they're being silly ;)

  • Ok lol.. I started to worry there

  • You know I didnt know anything. :0 Your awesome!!!

    --God Bless--

  • Yeah right :P

  • The reason the 2nd one was created? Hmmm...let me think a minute, here.....procreation? Well, maybe, but God could have done that alone without Adam's help. Whew, this is HARD!!! Oh, WAIT, I know!!! He DID it because "TRIBULATION worketh PATIENCE"?!! >; ) Ha, ha, ha!

  • LOL. My husband would agree with that.

  • Tell him he doesn't know how BLESSED he is, judging from what you're like on HERE! : ) I WAS engaged. Didn't last long. But were friends now, so that's good.

  • My husband was engaged 3 times before me. (Those poor girls!) His friends were taking bets on whether or not he'd go through with it. He said he just never met the right woman before me :)

  • Looks like he struck GOLD this time! Here's the "litmus test" I have for finding the right lady: (aside from her being a practicing Christian, of course!) Does she have a "problem" with me having a motorcycle? (I have a 2002 Harley 1200 Sportster) If she DOES, and won't "LET" me have one, ooooh!!! RED FLAG, RED FLAG!!! As Ahnuld said in "Terminator II-Judgment Day"...."Hasta la VISTA, Baby"! ; )

  • LOL. My dad has always had a Harley. He likes the touring bikes. I can't say my mom was always happy when he showed up with a new one, but she likes that it keeps him out of her hair when he's bored. He likes to hang out at the Harley Dealership and he's the Chaplain for the Police Blue Knights. He goes on their poker runs, does their hospital visitations, weddings, funerals, prays at their picnics, etc.

  • Cool! So what about your hubby? Is he a rider? I belong to the local H.O.G. chapter, as well as CMA, and have recently joined up with the Patriot Guard Riders. Hope to do a run with them SOON! Blue Knights is a good group TOO! I HIGHLY respect those men & women!!! ; )

  • My dad used to be the Chaplain for the CMA for many years. AND the HOG chapter! He's down to just the one now :P And no, my husband doesn't ride. He had a little Kawasaki for a while, but it was just a phase. I just call daddy if I want to go for a ride.

  • Cool! "There's just SOMETHIN' women like about a HARLEY MAN"! ; ) ROFL! : )

  • Yeah. It's called Daddy! I am the ultimate Daddy's Girl!

  • 1. Define people. Adam was both. Eve came out of Adam. 2. Who was created first? Adam. Bonus question: So he wouldn't be alone. 3. Who built the ark? Noach Bonus question: It had never rained. 4. The first spoken commandements by God of the Torah. 5. Exodus 6. Moshe Trick question: God. 7. Which Bible. It varies from version to version. 8. See answer to #7. 9. 13 10. Love, Joy, Peace/Shalom, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Humility, Self Control. Bonus question: Galations 5:22-23
  • Good job :) I was using any typical Christian translation. I realized the Catholics have more books.

  • Hey I posted a comment; couple of days ago. I hope I didn't offend anybody mostly the Holy Spirit. I was trying to be funny. I didn't think I was being offensive. Sorry.

  • I don't know what you posted.....

  • Must have not made it across the internet. Been having a lot of computer problems lately, even at work. Just something silly that isn't worth mentioning. You never got my answers then. Oh well.

  • Yay thanks! I'm love this family. hehe.

  • It's the best kind =)

  • Gettin' a lil' trivial eh?

    (Lol, is trivial a word?)

  • Yes, it is. But it means "a minor matter". GOD IS HUGE! :P

  • Oohh...God is huge, ;)

  • i have a bonus question ! lol...who fasted the longest amount of time in the Bible :)

  • Jesus

  • Moses! LOL ..40 receiving the 10 commandments..then another 40 after he saw the sin going on when he got down with the tablets...i just found this out like last week ...i was like ...wow 80 days , unbelievable

  • Jesus fasted 40 days in the wilderness too.

  • yes...he did :)

  • 1Adam & Eve 2Adam was created first, Eve was created b/c it wasn't good for man to be alone 3. Noah built the ark, it hadn't rained before then so they thought he was crazy 4. Read Exodus 20 :) 5. Exodus 20 lol 6. God wrote them the first time 7. 66 books 8. 40 people scribbled out, but the author was the Holy Spirit 9. 12 disciples 10. love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control (Galatians 5:22-23)

  • =)

  • I fail. But I think I got some of them.

  • Which ones did you get?

  • Was the ark built on a mountain? I didn't get Number 6 and I can't remeber all 10. I watched SEVEN though, so I know my sins!

  • The ark landed on Mt. Ararat when the water receded. See, you knew something :)

  • LOL I was excited.... i love Bible Triva

  • oh and by the way, i'm just playing - i actually used to study the bible quite a bit when i was a christian.

  • 7)none, unless you cut a hole in it and hide one in there

8)dont know, but its a GREAT fiction!

    9)atleast 2!

    10)apples pears etc

  • I used to have the 10 commandments memorized thanks to a "Golden Rules" poster I had years ago.

Hey, you didn't say if you were offering any grand prize here!

    :-D

  • Sorry. I'm broke. No prizes =P

  • Christians already have the prize!

  • That's for sure!

  • 8's a trick question b/c it's debated even among Bibical experts

  • Thanks for stopping by. I have to respond so everyone knows you're not a stalker! I've had some fakes hanging around. But you're actually the original =)

  • Number 10 reminds me of a song I learned as a little one in Bible Quiz. It was a fun little diddy that was a direct quotation from Galatians 5:22-23.

It worked, I can't forget them even if I wanted to now!

    -Nick

  • I use a song for the fruits of the Spirit too :)

  • It seems like you have the text responses covered - and it is like 1 AM here...GREAT video idea, though. It was fun trying to see how many I could answer without looking it up. I got all of them except No. 8.

Keep up the videos! (I think we have the same phone too, IPAQ I believe?)

    -Nick

  • There were 40 different men who wrote down the scriptures. And yes, it's an iPAQ.

  • 66/40. Thank you Chuck Missler!

  • I believe in 8th day creation. There is a distiction between man (ethinic people) created on 6th day and Adam created on 8th day, in the Hebrew text. Adam was the man which Christ would come thru. Who did Cain marry? He went east to land of Nod, and married a woman from 6th day creation.

  • If the Bible says 7 days, why would you believe in 8 day creation? That just makes stuff confusing.

  • I'd stick with 7 ;)

  • 1. Adam and Eve. 2. Adam was first. Eve was created because it was not good that Adam be lonely. 3. Noah. It had never rained before. 4. Have no other Gods before God. Do not take the Lord's name in vain. Sabbath. Honor your father and mother. Do not murder. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not bear false witness. Do not covet.

  • 4. (Cont.) Moses received the commandments. I think Joshua wrote them, but I'm not sure. They are found in Exodus. (that's more then question 4, sorry.) 7. 66 8. approx. 40 9. 12 including Judas who was later replaced by Matthias. 10. love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

  • Did you ever notice that after Judas was replaced by Matthias, Matthias was never mentioned again? Just something that makes me think :)

  • Maybe Justus would have been the better choice after all...Nah.

  • We hear about Matthias all the time. He wrote the Gospel of Matthew. But, I beleive God intended to choose the 12th appostle (Saul) instead of men getting ahead of ourselves trying to fulfill Scripture themselves.

  • Hey so I'm going to do a video response in like less then a week so lol

  • OK =)

  • There's no excuse for me not knowing all these except that I'm a new christian and don't read my bible as much as i should. :( aww. Well new as in 10 months. yes im a 10 month old christian! :)

  • Yay! Actually most of those questions are the things you learn in Sunday school. Adults are at a disadvantage if they weren't saved when they were kids. Unless they go to bible college.

  • I never went to Sunday school. My parents were never really church goers.

  • Still not too late to start! ; ) Not hard to find one you can relate to! Good source of friends, support, etc! Have a good one! : )

  • Now that's just wrong! o_O

  • ROFL! Have you actually read the crap on the web site that exposes that stuff? There's a video too. It unbelievable!

  • i'm working on a video response but don't know if i'm going to post it now...i think i got a lot of them wrong!

  • Uh Oh. There's always google! Or a concordance =)

  • I'm glad you make religious videos. Keep them up :-) Christians like me love them.

  • OK Potty mouth. So what are the answers?

  • I'd answer but I'd rather other people guess. And ummm...10 commandments trick question, yeah I am pretty sure I know what you're going for there too.

  • =) I'm making them all go read their bibles to figure it out :P

  • Haha, good idea. The only one I would have to really look up is the total number of recorders (which is what I think of them instead of "authors").

  • Yeah. I corrected myself in the description. Bad choice of wording.

  • 40

  • hehe, those questions were far to easy, I said them all straight away.

  • =)

  • The 10 commandments one is easy, I think. God wrote them out on stone.

  • Yep. This 1st time. But Moses broke them. So then what?

  • God wrote them, but then Moses broke them and they had to be re-written. The 2nd time, Moses carved out the stones, and God added to them :)

  • ( Adult voice inside my head, "now you know that you don't know much about the bible, so just be quiet (stop peeking over taterr44's shoulder and no none of the answers involve duct tape. Let me do all the typing") Hi Lisa I am going to sit this one out :) ("very good. you want a cookie")

  • No peaking! Duct tape.... LOL

  • (You do realize that you owe her 45 seconds right)

  • Nah. She wanted to show off her knowledge :)

  • My questions. Who were the Nephillim? Who was Enoch? Who was Melchizedeck? What was Jesus doing just before he said: "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone." What is the significance of Hebron, that it would carry over to the Arab/Israeli conflict today? Who was Cornelius? Why was he important. *wink*

  • Ummm. I don't have all week! But The Newsboys wrote an awesome song about Cornelius!

  • melchizedek is the preist-type of Jesus.

  • Yup.

  • re: cornelius. do you mean yukon cornelius from rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, don cornelius from soul train, or cornelius the chimp played by Roddy Mcdowall on Planet of the Apes?

  • Rofl. nice.

  • I believe that would be none of the above :P

  • SSSSSSSSSOOOOUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL train!

  • Youtube is swallowing comments whole again. This is the belief, correct. Tell me how did a "Priest of the Most High God" come about before God handed down the law to Abraham? Before Leviticus?

  • I think you'll have to go talk to SomeCallMeJim or Bostorican. They have theology degrees. I don't get into major theological discussions. I'm more interested in my relationship with Christ and keeping my heart right with him. I'm not a theologian.

  • And we come back round again. I spent years studying the Bible only to find out all I need to know is Jesus. *wink*

  • Well those are some of my favorites for discussion, one that always gets me is this one In the King James versian of the Bible compare 2 Chron 36:9 and 2 Kings 24:8. Explain.

  • I have no idea. It looks like the newer prints have corrected the age to 18. Go to biblegateway dot com. The KJV now says 18, not 8.

  • Heh, I don't really need a website. I am a book kinda gal. These two passages and the discrepancy between them is why I began using the LXX for a reference. That and the cursing of the bloodline of Jesus. (Ever followed that complete Genealogy?)

  • Yep, it was cursed through Joseph's line. Not Mary's.

  • Whoops, number 2 I forgot to say that people thought Noah was crazy for building an ark because it hadn't rained for a long time (does it say how long?)

  • Never before! =P

  • wait, never before what? lol

  • It had never rained before! And this crazy guy starts telling them that water's going to fall out of the sky!

  • ohhhh yeah! aw that's so cool. I love God. He's a neat guy.

  • whoops, so God isn't a guy but you know what I meant.

  • I don't think He's as uptight as some would think :) I always say "God's cool like that"

  • So here's your Christian subscriber!!! Oh and for number 5, my guess is the Holy Spirit. But you still stumped me.

  • 5. Moses wrote the book of Exodus, but that doesn't necessarily mean he wrote them down. You stumped me, let me know!

    6. There are 66 books in the Bible.

    7. Authors, you stumped me again. I don't want to cheat so let me know!

    8. 12 Disciples.

    9. *sings song* The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control!

  • On the mountain, God wrote the 10 commandments in tablets of stone, with His own finger. But Moses came down the mountain and smashed them when he saw the disobedient children of Israel. So then what happened?

  • Oh! And it was a bad choice of wording on my part; obviously there was only one author, but there were 40 different writers.

  • Part 1 - Also disagreement on the 1st and 6th commandment listed. The firs is I am the Lord Your God etc. I.e., the first commandment is to believe in God. No other gods and idol worship belong to the 2nd commandment.

  • On this one, no other gods and idol worship are 2 separate commandments. No other gods means anything that's more important to you than Him. Idol worship is an actual created object that you worship.

  • Actually that's where I'm disagreeing with you. It's a theological debate as to what the exact 10 are. I side with the opinion that the first one is - "I am the Lord Your God" being a commandment. A lot of people don't agree that that's the first one - but I do. You have to have faith and beleive in God before the others are applicable. My 2 cents.

  • Part 2 - A huge mistranslation is Thou Shall Not Kill (KJV) where the actual translation from the Hebrew is Thou Shall Not Commit Murder (taterrr4 got it correct) Killing - when justified - is OK. Murder is not. Again I apologize for butting in like this.

  • Why are you apologizing. That's correct. The commandment says "Thou shalt not murder".

  • ...uh, I realize topics like this so often get weighed down in discussing the details, but I just gotta... :) calling the commandments 'The Ten Commandments' gets us all into a state of confusion. That's soooo KJV ish. In Hebrew, they are called 'The Ten Words', and that's why Ex. 20:1 is the first 'Commandment', that God declares Himself, and what He's done to/for us... taken us out of Egypt. It's not a commandment per se, because 'Commandment' is a misleading title for all of these.

  • Totally agree - that's what I was trying to say but not as well as you. The KJV is some places really sucks with its mistranslations. If you want to get technical, even 'Word' is misleading. A better translation of the Hebrew 'Devarim' is 'Sayings' ie, The 10 Sayings," of which the first is "I am the Lord Your God."

  • Yeah.. sorry to say, KJV has many inaccuracies, arising from the time in which it was commissioned by King James, when anti-semetism was widespread. It has led millions towards Jesus and salvation though, which just shows that God works with imperfection to reveal Himself... kinda like through you and me, right? :) Studying the Bible hebraically reveals astounding things.

  • "Astounding things" is an understatement. But it's the only way to do it if you really want to learn it's meaning. Good for you!

  • I see you two don't need me in this conversation :P Glad you're enjoying yourselved :)

  • Didn't mean to leave you out - lol. See what you started though :)

  • Bible girl, you are TOTALLY in this conversation! :) Love the quiz... inspires us to know these things. Question: why did David pick up 5 stones, but use only one? :)

  • I can only guess the 5 could represent the 5-fold ministry. But if he hit him on the first try, he didn't need the others.

  • Good guess! :) Read John 5:46,47... huge clue! :)

  • Thank you :) I've been in a hebraic fellowship for 4 yrs. Has completely changed me, and removed all fear of anything in life. Soooo much to discuss...
