You being in Korea where there are so many great players who use a variety of weapons and tactis, I wouldnt expect you to say something like that. Totally false. What is true is that different classes excel in different areas. Spear Lann & hammer Fiona do well with lots of trash mobs with hurricane and butterfly respectively while sword Lann & sword Fiona do best at bosses with small openings with double crescent and blossom blow.

but the problem is overall balance. considering the survivability they have, staff and hammer puts out way too much dps for the same amount of given effort. this has been stated by many pro players and I can say this from personal experience since my main is hammer and second is staff.

but what should be considered on the other hand is that picking hammer or staff won't instantly grant you auto-win nor does any other character besides hammer or staff mean phail.

hammer and staff is op, but there are limits to how much it can change whats between the keyboard and chair. especially in this game

@lagerowonder Well yea thats true. Staff is literally flying away from everyone else now with flying sparrow AND mana ember WITH spammable blind arrows and the ability to freeze. Hammer got base aspd buffed and subsequent butterflys are closer to the first one in dmg. Once you get aspd on a hammer you pump out stigma's almsot as fast as amaranths. So yea maybe they are a bit OP now that I think about it lol. But like we said the person behind the computer plays a large roll as well.

@lagerowonder In other words various classes have their specializations where they do the best. The characters are there for us to use & all of them are equal. Some take more practice than others depending on the skillset which may be the only imbalance but this holds true for any game. What is overpowered is the player using the character & that goes for any game unless the characters were intentionally made to be imbalanced which is rare & does not apply to this game.

I notice that there's a LOT different from Vindictus ep6 and Mabinogi: Heroes ep6. The goblin healers (I'll just call them shamans lol), the goblins that toss grenades everywhere, and the guy that spawns in 1:38. Is he not a boss in Mabi Heroes or something? And the spear trainer (mid boss) He has the dodge slash attack spear lann does. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here and assume this is just unreleased ep6 stuff. Hope we get it soon :D

@xemmas He used Slashing High. It's an SP skill that lets you have unlimited stamina for some time, as well as no flinching and increased movement speed.

@kwameampadu That's the SP: Furious 7, you attain it @ lvl 52...costs 4 sp bars. He used 4 bars in the begining to transform and wasn't able to get back 4 bars again to do it because the boss did too fast.

@kwameampadu lol im guessing you don't play the game. No thre is no limit to the amount of SP skills you can bring. W.e SP skill you are able to attain you can use. All you press is the "X" button to switch between sp skills and to be sure to have the required sp bars. Some Sp skills take 1 or 2 bars, but high level sp skills like transformation or furious 7, reverse gravity takes 4 bars (4 bars is max atm)

Wiki says that using gliding fury out of that Hurricane spinny attack takes some getting used to. So can someone explain how to do it? Do you hold down the spin until you see the crit flash, and then let go and right click again to do the gliding fury?

or be smarter than that and hold down smash button till you see crit animation and press it if you want to crit at that time. gfury can get you killed if its timed wrong....

@sexyass02 thats an exaggeration, but not completely false....in higher boats/levels, the game becomes tough enough that it becomes much more difficult for Spear Lanns to avoid getting hurt because their dodge is just a roll. Sword Lann's have Sip Dash, which gives them a moment of invincibility. Because of that, Sword Lann's in a way are easier to stay alive than Spear Lanns. Ofc its possible to be a spear lann in higher levels, its just more difficult, in terms of survivability.

@sexyass02 i meant to say "Slip" dash not Sip dash....... and additionally, maybe there are some people that hate spear lanns enough that they'd actually kick them, I doubt every host in higher lvls kicks spear lanns. It's just the not-completely-false idea that Spear Lanns are more difficult to remain alive than Sword Lanns

thats just me using fury infusion and getting hit at the same time, so both animation showed up at once. if you played wow you should be familear with this kind of happening

actually it's using fury infusion first and then I started basic attack, at rank 9 you can use it while moving and can do other stuff while in motion
