Although I have to admit that I agree with parts of what you stated, there is an unfortunate thing with peace, which is that it doesn't get established as quickly as war. You make it sound a bit like genocide: Go in, kill all, get out. Under this aspect, carpet bombing would be a sure way to win, as are WMDs.
