The word "law" is one charged with meaning. To me, the only legitimate law is that properly passed by my duly elected government. Whatever BS the power-mad fools in the EU or UN decide to make up is not law.
Many "international laws" also ban the use of cluster munitions of any type, but I assume they're still used in your AO now and then?

I thought they were allowed to carry something in self defence, no matter what the country's law. Providing it IS a warzone.
