The UN gave us new defenceable borders and told us that the limit is what you're talking about, there was only an agreement from Syria but there was no accual ceasefire and the Syrian army did not stop attaking

@DanHadan The 6 day war was fought because Egypt, Syria and Jordan were preparing to attack Israel with the intention to wipe it off the face of the earth (those 3 were the frong line, but the rest of the Arab nations were also preparing to assist). Cutting Israel of water was one of the tactics Syria had to assure victory, just as Egypt blockaded waterpaths to Israel. The Arab nations were ready for a self-launched war back in June 67, but caught off-guard by Israel's attack.
