They looked better than expected and you could feel the excitement in the stands. I met my husband (we're both Irish American) at this game and I think the aura added to our budding romance. Koreans do NOT play dirty. Their Dutch coach made them tough. Was very proud to be American as well during '02.

well, if they DID beat germany in the semi finals, they would have like a 25-30% to win, cuz brazil was considered unbeatable at that time.
that long ball goal by park ji-sung was superb. that dribbling by Yi Young-Pyo, is sublime. Thuram was ball watching all the way in the box before kicking away the danger.
it wouldnt have been a surprise if korea lost by 3 or 4 points. that french team was probably the best i seen in a long time. Henry, Trezeguet, and Zidane. korea showed hell of effort. of course my favorite player here is Hong Myoung Bo. god, does korea need him now more than ever.
