  • @maxxum1184 Thanks for the reply

  • nice, saves a lot of time if u dont make triangles, ive been useing a John Deere with auto track on this year the one that steers its self, its a good job

  • hove that gps its fearly gud ant it

  • Why don't you add a front pto and another mower to double your cutting capacity? The tractor would have plenty of power for that. I'm in the province of Ontario in Canada and I'm running a JD 7520 w/ IVT which would be similar to a 6820 or 6920 I think. We're running a 13ft mower and a JD 582 rotocut round baler. We put up about 1500 bales of silage for ourselves with dry hay and straw on top of that. There is a new 582/592 premium baler available there what have you heard about it? Thanks

  • Have toyed with the idea of a front mower but we have 2 trailed mowers. Getting in & out of some of the fields we be in would not be so easy (average size 7-8 acres) not as wide open as US/Canada. I use a Mchale baler, by far the best in my opinion irish made for irish conditions. Our grass would be a lot heavier/damper than what you would be used with. Watch my vid (the way to draw bales) & you'll see what i mean. Ontario eh?..I have a lot of relatives (non farming) in Sarnia.

  • Yeah most of our fields are around 30 acres just for the purpose of rotation. The fence rows have long since been removed so the fields could be much larger. I was just wondering if you had seen one of those JD 582 balers at one of those Grassland shows that you have over there. Yes your bales are much heavier than what we handle, 4 1/2 ft bales of alfalfa silage around 40% dry matter weigh about 1500 lbs. I have a neighbour who was born in . Sarnia is about 4 1/2 hrs southwest of where I am.

  • nice! i got the EZ-Guide 500, use it for exactly the same thing. Its not easy to keep on track, especially on hilly ground, just need the EZ-Steer now :)

  • Yours would have the colour screen then?

It came out just after i bought that one.

sure the EZ-steer would take all the fun out of it:)

  • fair play son!

  • TA!
