  • Why does this work so well?

  • This is genius!

  • Comment removed

  • Actually, not that inappropriate

  • And yet no one stole my idea: This scene + The Cha Cha Slide.

  • Comment removed

  • @thecatlands STOLE YOUR IDEA! HAVE VIDEO OF IT! POSTING IT ON YOUTUBE! TROLOLOL

  • instantly subscribed

  • Instant Tarantino movie

  • @EivindTM need's more blood and gore though. but your comment is so fucking correct haha.

  • Also, this is a bit off topic...

But I swear to God I hear "When this day is through I hope that I will fart". @2:23

  • This is so awesome. =]

  • Actually that was Oliver Stone's take of it.

  • I have seen that film so many times I forgot how truly epic it is.

  • I'm still new to youtube...how do you upload a scene from a movie?

  • lol this makes Neo and Trinity seem like druggys

  • lolwut?

  • its true, some movies do that, a sort of sarcastic happy tune in the background to contrast the dark imagery.

  • this does seem like a tarantino movie now, hahaha!!

  • you can hear part of the matrix theme at 1:16 :)

  • Leave Karen alone!!!

  • i shall play this song when i walk in a bar with uzis :)

  • USA SUCKZ!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @igorpro21 thats right :D 90% of them think they are best, but they arent alone there

  • @igorpro21 Lol no

  • tha was, impressive.......

  • Wait, that wasn't the actual music?

  • XD lol this was needed

  • dude said it, seems like a Tarantino movie. Hilarious.

  • Delightful -- just delightful!

  • This is my favorite.

  • Innapropriate? This fits the scene perfectly! Love it, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!! (in George Costanza voice)

  • 0:33 XD perfect man

  • sounds appropriate :D

  • This makes me happy :D

  • Awesome. How did you get the movie without the original soundtracks? I can still hear the shots so you must have done something :). Please answer I would love to have this movie without soundtrack.

  • @97bmhn:

All I did was change the volume of the movie at different times. I'd pull the volume back when the music overshadowed the gunshots and bring it up again when the gunshots were more audible. With the alternate music laid over the scene, it's harder to hear/notice the original soundtrack, but trust me, it's there. I had no alternate copies to work with; this is the original movie through and through with no additional sound effects added.

  • @97bmhn

Thanks for anwering my question :)

Wow Then this is video an even more Awesome work!!

BTW I checked out your other videos. Damn you own this genre. I am subscribing.

  • this great scene is now ruined forever.

  • Reminds me of the shootout in Face/Off with Somewhere Over The Rainbow in the background.

  • rofl it dosen't even fit this scene. lets think. there shooting people and there's bullets flying everywhere and violence with happy music. tie em together you get random crap!

  • It works

  • lol

  • This actually makes this scene so much more badass.

  • Like many, I've seen this movie, and this particular scene, like 1,000,000x. I like how new and fresh it seems, with this track. Very Tarantino. Or Watchmen even. I would do this kind of scene with this kind of music. Pity it didn't have blood though.

  • Absolutely fucking perfect.

  • see if u can use denis leary's "asshole song" with this scene

  • What is the title of this song?

  • @umm86 "Top of the World" by The Carpenters

  • WHY DOES IT WORK SO WELL?!?!?!? :D

  • Now it's rated PG-13

  • I like it, reminds me of watchmen when simon and garfunkel was played at the funeral.

  • this kinda works

  • I'm on the...TOP OF THE WORLD!

  • weird to not to see trinity and neo not getting a single hit........on them

  • fuck you texas !!!

  • Now I feel like I'm in Texas...

  • butchered

  • Check out my channel for more Inappropriate Soundtracks!

Just starting, but the videos are great! Thanks!

  • ....i know the "carpenters"

  • No movie has ever glorified the smg so much.

  • It's no coincidence that Neo and Trinity are upside down during both of the chorus lines...

  • That was just awesome

  • Could have actually been in the film and nobody would have noticed any difference

  • ey new vegas lets go see that caravan yaaa haaawww lol

  • Taranatino's version of Matrix?

  • it would be funny if at the end of the fight they shoot the radio broadcasting that music and say "ah thats better"

  • Looks like a Quentin Tarantino film now.

  • I think this is the best one of these I've seen yet. Fantastic

  • That was perfect.

  • axaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxax lol xaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxax xaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa

  • xD

  • only thing missing is chuck norris

  • The sad thing is I've seen movies that are just like this and they were supposed to be serious.

  • @MearickLee When they do this in movies, it's supposed to be contrapuntal. They do it in Run Lola Run, House of 1000 Corpses, and countless others. It's to invoke a different emotion than expected. Nothing in film production is an accident.

  • @SquareAware8000 I know, but that doesn't make it any less weird

  • @MearickLee It is weird, but it also serves a purpose.

  • imagine it with benny hill

  • Oh god thanx watchowski brothers know that job

  • I don't know about everyone else but the music in perfectly appropiate. After all what other music can you kill people to than the good all carpenters.

  • I feel like this is one of those things where the song is so ridiculously unfitting that it fits. Does that make sense?

  • it sounds about right

  • HAWAII BEACH PARTY!!

  • 56 people have no sense of humour. that was hilarious!!! XD

  • lol

  • I'm sorry but this is actually wrong. It's a Perfectly Appropriate Soundtrack. It is pretty clear that this hallway battle was one of the key scenes the Wachowskis envisaged and built the film around.

Consider the first time you saw this movie and how blasted by the whole experience you probably were by this point. It's got to be said: If only they had then had the nerve to have had THIS playing over the foyer PA system in the original film...

  • Pure awesomeness!!

  • 1:30 best part. Lyrics completely go with the flip... laughed so hard.

  • This seems like a Tarantino movie now

  • @Treblaine came here to say this

  • @Treblaine LMFAO!

  • @Treblaine

Scrolled down to write exactly that, then saw your comment and resentingly clicked "thumbs up" instead.

  • @Treblaine aww lol i was gonna say that haha

  • @Treblaine I just broke 200 likes on your comment, Hats off to you goo Sir. But yes, It makes me want to watch a tarantino movie.

  • FREEEEZE!!!!!!

  • Hahahahahahahaha, I actually laughed out loud when the music started! :)

  • this is both hilarious and hard to watch

  • It's funny but when I first watched the Matrix I thought I heard this song playing. Maybe it's time for another cat scan?

  • 3:18 favorite bit

  • Does it keep lagging for anyone else?

  • That feels like a match in Modern Warfare 2 minus the lack of a few care packages and an AC-130...

  • @MrSpetsnaz It looks like the mod for Half-life, The Specialists. Wait, that's because this was the inspiration for it. Seriously, if you can still find that mod online, try it out.

  • You can grab the audio-mp3 of this track at getyourmp3s doht cohm.

  • lol

  • this was the version i saw in theaters ;)

  • I have two words for this FUCKING BRILLIANT

  • @AstronomyGeek13 stop replying to comments made more than a week prier

  • with this music i watched the whole thing differently.

i was like, "ahh... first dates.. reminds me of my own." :)

  • neo is on the top of matrix lol~

  • This is Great!. rofl

  • perfect!

  • shit are they shooting a .50 cal out of those subs they are leaving craters in the wall lol

  • wait a min. 1:44 those are vz-61's!!! a .32acp!!! why are .223 brass falling out?

  • Fuck the feds too.

  • Hey Boonehams, I got one for you: The climax of Scarface set to "What a Day for a Daydream". Please make it happen!

  • this kind of seems like a tarantino film imao

  • it actually kinda works. nice job.

  • I was too busy watching the scene to notice the Carpenters were playing. This movie was masterfully shot they could've been playing Barney and Teletubbies in unison.

  • now it just looks like a quentin taratino movie for some reason...

  • I love this, and that's why I subscribed : )

  • XD XD XD XD

  • I think it fits pretty damn well

  • @Sabored Kind of like a Tarentino movie eh? lol

  • @GeneralKenobiSIYE I would have wrote that if the other 700 thousand didn't

  • Demolation team , not the resque team....

  • How did you remove the original soundtrack and keep the sounds of gun fire?

  • @DasGreenCow He didn't, you can hear the original soundtrack from time to time. It's just that the gunfire was louder than the music. :D

  • I dunno that it's inappropriate, it just turns it into a Tarantino flick...

  • why did they all the guards I mean, if they left without any weapons, there is no reason to have killed them all

  • Comment removed

  • AWESOME, this brought back old memories of watching this for the first time in an old timey reminiscey sort of way, brought a tear to my eye.

  • this is the best on conkers bad fur day :P

  • Silly, LOL

  • lmfao

  • Lmfao!! I love it. (:

  • hey I love the carpenters, but yes..it is very inappropriate for this scene....LOL

  • It still works, actually.

    Not better, but it works.

  • Gold. Absolute fucking gold.

  • this is brilliant.

  • XDD holy shit * MUSIC PLEASE* YEEEEEHAAAAA XD

  • @Gdanohrukrodmmtefce I know... it's sad

how come they couldnt just kill the bad guys :(

  • Country music and violence do not mix.

  • Umm I like it better actually.

  • Umm, what were you smoking, and can we share?

  • LOL

  • it somehow, makes it... beautiful

  • damn music pop-up with the spoilers!

  • LOL FUKI9N ACE

  • whahaha funny sound XD cool :P

  • i thought it was pretty cool actually

  • I love your job!! XDDD

  • the best part is where the pillar crumbles at the end. :I

  • This scene with this music had me remember the taste of Tarantino's musics to fit the movies, excelent choice !!! =D

    *clap*clap*

  • A hippie song to a violent movie scene-bwahahaha

  • that is almost too perfect. ooooomg

  • Roflmaomgolol. Good job.

  • Hey it works because the Carpentar are made for good elevator music. This is flat out badass in a loonie ways.

  • music=badassedry

  • While I understand your frustration with seeing another religions debate, I want to say i believe someone is completed entitled to bash religion when they please, it deserves criticism.Just think of what this stuff has led to, the crusades, inquisitions, and even today since the pope doesn't like condoms 1.4 million people die annually from the AIDS virus. Then you precede to say its rude to bring this up, You may as well continue to say it's insulting to Nazis when talking about the holocaust.

  • This music could work if it were in a dark humorous way. Like overly PC company muzak.

  • this is probably the funniest "inappropriate soundtrack" I've heard

  • The most ridiculous yet awesome fight scene in a movie somehow got more ridiculous/awesome.

  • Very appropriate, actually! This also made me realize how awesome that slo-mo scene is!

  • defiantly something Lynch would do

  • If matrix was a tarantino film then it would have this song probably.

  • @aderussell455 wow thats weird i thought the same thing before I read this! haha

  • @aderussell455 It would probably have had that music if it was a Stanley Kubrick movie as well.

  • @aderussell455 I thought the same thing! Awesome

  • Kinda makes me feel sorry for the officers. It emphasizes that they don't stand a chance against those who are essentially "looking down on creation". Genius!

  • I think it's quite appropriate. Subversive.

  • you need that one song by herb alpert and the tijuana bras

  • what are you talking about? This is perfect for this part! :)

  • I think you titled this incorrectly because this was COMPLETELY APPROPRIATE! that m=song is perfect for slo-mo fight scenes.
