I'm a teacher in England - and worked in the US as a teacher a few years ago... these 'pep rally' things were like something from another planet for me - still don't quite get them. However, different culture - the emphasis on sport is amazing and the kids seem to love it. I showed this to my students here in England - sharing cultures - they are 15/16 year olds. Their reaction?... 'What about their exams?...shouldn't they be studying?... They were SO confused that this was in school time..

everyone likes vero because thats the school that all the funding goes to. the school district is extremely biased towards it.

We got this idea from the Oprah show. Didn't even know any other schools tried doing this so no, we didn't copy from Schurr High School. The dance moves, for the exception of the very beginning, are straight from the Opral show as well.

why do the cheerleaders all have different uniforms? some have white long sleeves, others are wearing black sleeves - and some uniforms have a split in the skirt - and some of the tops have red shoulders .. i feel like i'm looking too closely but it's really irritating me :P
