I think hot topic and spencers can be over-priced personally...i've just been using no flared stainless steel plugs i buy online when i stretch up cause they're only $5 for a pair and an acrylic taper. i wouldn't want to spend a bunch on plugs when i'm actively stretching since you won't be at that size long. also, i've heard sometimes that people get a pack that say one size, but it's really another size. also, i think you could make it to 2G easily, personally.
