Yeah....I was there and still do not condone the 11th precincts actions (in general) why? Because these police are NOT protectors. The 13 cops on the scene simply means they are looking for action AND NOT simply there to react quickly. Four cops had the job done but they could have put him into de squadcar. What did they do? They just hung around, waiting for another four, then five more cops to arrive on the scene, which ofcourse ironically enough they "had" 2 shove their way out into de scene.

That is what they were trying to do and the guy was giving fake names and was trying to leave. Then tried to flle the school assulting the officers.
