well the flying effect is simialar but theirs looks more like a cherry picker with that roundness at the bottom where her legs would be and U.S. Wicked they stand on a tiny platform and rise like we all love =)

This is just the 30 min version in Osaka. The full-length production in Tokyo has a flying effect just like the productions in the US and Europe. :)

Its running as an attraction at Universal Studios Osaka. So you only pay to get into the park. Thats why they only run a 30 minute show. Personally, I think we should do the same at Universal Hollywood.

Shiki Productions has the rights for Wicked. They were planning to open it in Tokyo well before the theme park show in Osaka was planned. Universal owns Wicked, so they opened a totally new "land" in Universal Studios called the Land of Oz.
