You can tell Joe's living a dream here playing 'Sunshine' at the Albert Hall- bet he watched that old 60's Cream concert a few times...! As famous as he is- you can tell he's still just a fan... Good on him...!
This guy in my opinion is one of the most impressive guitarists to come around in a long time since the likes of Eric Clapton, Gilmour, Stevie Ray, etc. He has really got my attention. Keep to torch glowing Joe!
Well I just got my RAH DVD in the mail two days ago. OMG! It's amazing! Lol. Love the Two drummers. They do some crazy stuff in this DVD. If you haven't yet, You should definitely get the RAH DVD!! You'll love it!
There's no good reason really. In fact my band just did a kickass video of this song without even a bass. If you're good enough, you don't need 10 people on stage.
damn, that's like the best moment a guitarplayer could have... soundchecking in the Royal Albert Hall.... there's some weird vibe in that hall, it's so mystique!
It was the first question i asked when he started the set and two drummers appeared... But they mixed well and there was some songs where it added that added bit of ooomf! Excellent gig... Check out videos i have up of Scott McKeon who opened... I will also be putting up videos of Joe soon aswell.
it was reported as needing the extra acoustic volume to fill up the AH, - looks like he does not play with a massive PA. One of the reviews I read was a bit negative about the 2 drummers but have to say it looks superb to see the 2 in perfect time
Hmmm...I notice that you there are many shots of the curvilinear arrays. Do you have affiliation with the company who supplied loudspeakers for RAH? The "meyer" has me curious???
Wiress: Yes, and against JB policy, but the venues get larger.
Cable better for sound: No, not really. There are some excellent wireless sets on the market today. Better tone than with a cable, Every cable has a bit of tone suck. Most expensive wireless sets don't.
It took me about a minute to locate Joe... ;)

You'll especially love the DVD if you're one of the guys who got a version where the picture and the sound of Woke Up Dreamin' is synchronous...

and to add the drummer closest is Anton Fig (look him up) think the other might be Bogie Bowles - if it is those are 2 of the best

You're right they are great and you're right, and it's Anton Fig and Bogie Bowles.
