  • First favorite vid in 4 months! Yay! lol Last fave was Yanderenka Live Action. This is one of those songs where I'm always on the verge of tears, yet I never manage to cry. :S Still awesome.

  • soo awsome

  • 1:50-1:51

The mask Kaito's putting on reminds me of Cantarella XD

  • Wait, which Vocaliod character is who?

I know the green-aqua haired one is Miku, and the two twins are Rin and Len, Len is the boy, and Rin is the girls, but who is everyone else?

  • @WolfSttary12 blue haired one is Kaito, The re haired one is Meiko, the whight haired one is Haku and the purple haired one is Gakupo.

  • @WolfSttary12 The red one is Meiko and the blue one it Katio. ^^

  • @WolfSttary12 Red is Meiko, the first vocaloid character, then blue is Kaito which was the second vocaloid. third being miku and 4th being rin and len. therea a 5th 6th 7th and 8th too

  • so what sin is this? and omg tears are burning my eyes

  • @KageTenshiiRyuu well, the enitre story of evil is pride, so yeah

  • I didn't cry in this 4th part; I liked the 3rd part more :/ just my opinion.

  • Leeluulaa is actually:

    Lapis Lazuli

  • @bigboymills It's Ru Ri Ra. Lapis Lazuli has nothing to do with this. Ru Ri Ra is a lullaby.

  • lol, the entire video was serious until they played rock, paper, scissiors

  • at the end when i saw the bottle, i just dried my eyes out!!

the led and rin series r the best!!

  • Aww...how cute! This didn't make me cry as much as Regret Message and the rest of the Evil Saga did.

  • Is this the fourth part of The Evil Series?

  • @RukiahTaicho Yes.

  • @RukiahTaicho Yes.

  • @RukiahTaicho NO, it's a common misconception, since fans like to assume it a lot. It was never confirmed, Re_Birthday is the fourth song in the "Clockwork Lullaby" series, the so called "glue that ties the Evillous Chronicles together". I have my suspicions and theories as to what this song is actually about, but they are just theories. I can send it to you if you will, but remember that it's highly possible I'm wrong. Mothy is unpredictable.

  • @RukiahTaicho Mavander is right. There are several series one needs to know, before one can actually say, "This is what what's going down". Re_Birthday is the third song in the Clockwork Lullaby series, which is really more of a crossroad between every famous song Mothy's produced.

  • @CapriciousRhapsody

i agree, if the fans want a happy ending, Regret message has one.

  • did anyone notice that Miku's hair ties are mini leeks? :D

  • @lubylime And her bouquet's got a leek in it. :3

  • 'Luleela Luleela' "Reborn; New Birthday' Am I the only one this reminds of Dream Meltic Halloween?

  • Fuck. I finally understood what the hell was mothy's story.

  • Len is reborn ^.^

  • I can't stop listening to this song.

  • They should make these animated like the Final Fantasy cutscenes.

  • I heard somewhere that this isn't an offical song to the of evil series, but most people just take it to be just because of what the song is about, anyone know if that's true or not???

  • I wonder what program this person used...

  • Damn, that Miku is fat.

  • miku is so mean.

  • @nils8950 Len killed her!She has all right to be.

  • @kaialone but rin was who wanted that.

len just does what his lovely sis sais.

  • @nils8950 The lovely girl who indirectly mudered hundreds of people, aaaand had Len´s adoptive dad executed. Yeah, lovely.

  • @kaialone yeah,lovely.

she is lovely. she just doesn´t really know what she does.

    she stupid.

    -BUT LOVELY XD

  • @nils8950 Well I think someone who does selfish, foolish and stupid things isnt lovely.the whole point of the story was that Rin became a better person, but she WAS a horribble person before. Len knew that, but he still served her, because they where related by blood. Meiko and Leon where a more real family to him, yet he betrayed them for Rin´s sake. This is his sin, wich is why Miku say "your sin shall be never forgiven" in this song.

  • @kaialone The sin was, more like, he killed the one he loved, he even went to death, just for Rin. That's his sin. Rin and Len have the same sin but different reasons: They were BOTH prideful in their own way, and they were both people who killed others. Rin was raised that way, Len wanted to keep his smiling sister in his mind, stuff like that. But he was, like, giving his life to Rin, even letting her make him kill his first love. It's, in my opinion, worse than what Rin did.

  • @Sailorsallyrainbow but devoting your life to another person is the direct opposite of pride, its devotion wich is a virtue. Dont get me wrong I believe Len was sinful, too. I just dont think that "pride" was his sin.

  • @kaialone I just read someone else commenting the reason his sin could be pride, I don't remember where but that person wrote that Len had the sin of pride. I don't remember what was written, either. I think it was called "the 7 sins plus full video PV links" or something around that...

  • @Sailorsallyrainbow For the record mothy commented each sin song with the name of its sin (like Gift of the Princess who brought Sleep with sloth), and he commented "servant of Evil" with " loyalty" :S

  • @kaialone Thanks for the information. Like I said, I didn't comment that, I only passed it on from another commenter. I worded it, but he/she said Len was also pride.

Loyalty isn't a sin, is what I'm saying, and he did commit a sin, but I don't get the part about Leon and Meiko...I think, maybe, MEIKO could have been included, but not Leon. He's American o.o

  • @Sailorsallyrainbow The part about MEIKO and Leon is from the novel version that mothy wrote.

  • @nils8950 She wasn't stupid. She grew up like that. She was raised to be an evil queen. If you watched Servant of Evil, notice they were ripped from their mother, who was probably murdered by whoever adopted them, and they were ripped from each other. Rin was raised by "sweet" people who spoiled her and told her killing was a good thing, Len was raised by the servants who were extremely loyal. They were so young when this happened, they probably never knew any of it was bad.

  • how is this connected to the clockwork lullaby?

  • @lubylime Its kinda complicated, to long for a comment but I can send you a PM if you want to.

  • @kaialone That would be nice of you :D

  • The leek does NOT fit with the flower bouquet

  • Clockwork spring? I thought it was just like some spring that hung from the ceiling like a bed-spring

  • is this a part of the evil series?

  • Does anyone else think of Un-Birthday when they watch this?

  • I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT TYPE OF SPRING IT IS!! i thought it was the water kind of spring

  • @demonslike123456 this was the conclusion I think...

  • Len: it was for my sister/ I REGRET NOTHING!

    Rin: IM SO SELFISH (crying)

  • @fironischarm456 thats pretty much this and regret message in a nutshell

  • This is a fantastic translation. I love this series and I've heard this song a bazillion times, but this is undeniably the best translation I've encountered.

  • what is the vid after this

  • it'd you will be reborn not your.

  • I love how the PV maker includes drawings from Mothy's original PV in theirs...

  • @Guineapigsrock12 I dont think those pictures from mothy´s Pvs

  • The song's lyrics are intentionally ambiguous because it's part of two series, not just the Daughter of Evil series. It's not supposed to pertain only to one story or another, it's supposed to be able to work in the context of either one, so there aren't many specifics in the song.

  • @IktoruaAkura013

I think what your looking for is Cantarella.

  • Wats with the mask Kaito puts on? Is that another song if so....GIV ME THE TITLE PLEASE!

  • @IktoruaAkura013 There is no song that Kaito put's on that mask, unless you count "Prince of Blue" , but it's wise to leave it out. It's fanmade, unmade by mothy. But to the story of the 'Evil Series", when Miku is killed by Len, who was ordered to bey Rin, Kaito had helped the upraising against Rin, the PV probably depicts Kaito in a mask to hide his identity as the Prince of Blue. But this PV is fanmade, too.

  • It's so clever how they crossed the Clockwork Lullaby series over with the Daughter of Evil series with just one line, "Luleela, luleela," A song I heard, I wonder if someone is singing a lullaby..."

  • I love how she has a leek and skulls in that bouquet.

    Just saying.

  • 3 people weren't reborn.

  • YAY! only miku could do that XD a leek in a flower bouquet

  • This song is amazing end of story. the 1 thing that really creeps me out about the akuno and zenmai series' are their.. hiddenness? Akuno-P didn't make it clear what was specifically going on in the zenmai and akuno series'. He intertwined them.. it was as if he wanted you to discover for yourself what their true meaning was, and it gives me the chills. But I love it! And listen to the sorta echo at 4:50 - the end it's rly creepy and cool! And the out of tune piano in Clockwork's lullaby! Epic!

  • While this song is originally part of the "Clockwork Series", it obviously has relation to the "Regret Message" and the "Evil Series" in general, although this has not been confirmed by Akuno-P

Enough with the lecture...This is the song that appeals to me the most. It has Len, meaning and beauty, 3 things making a song wonderful!

  • @animekirby100 Actually, he did confirm that this was part of both series.

  • Why do I love this so much? *dances like a lunatic*

  • The best part was 0:00 to 4:54

  • @tkokid666 WRONG! It's so awesome it's still awesome when it's over! AND before it begins!

  • @NintenHedgehog you my friend are a genius, you're so right :D

  • how many parts are there?

    this is like pt 4

  • Best Re-birthday translation, EVER!

  • is there some kind of relationship with the "daughter of evil" song

    cuz it seems very similar...

  • @Kagome8055 yes and no... this is officially fro the clockwork series but was said (so it's unofficial) to be part of the Story of EVil/Daughter of Evil series

  • @VocaloidFTW This is what connects the 2, and Regret Message is also said to link the Evil and Clockwork sagas.

  • @VocaloidFTW

I remember reading that Mothy said that he wrote Re_birthday was written as a response to Regret Message but even then he never confirmed whether it's the really part of the Evil series as a whole or not.

It's also worth noting that Mothy never really confirmed that Regret Message was part of the series either until Daughter of White and the theater play was released around a year or so later.

  • do u know this has to do with "kokoro" by rin

  • She cried and all, then this is where this song comes in,he is trapped int he black room and all then he gets a new birthday, and that is going back to the song before this where Rin stands there, and a man says,"Here, meet him."She looked over to Len, a tear rolled down her cheek,Len just stood there, watching her,"His name is..."Was the last words the man spoke before everything went white or black,forgot.. :D

  • Now I get it, in one of the songs, Len fell in love with Miku,Rin was filled with jealousy and told him to kill her,He did as told because he only wanted to keep Rin Happy, then they wanted to Execute Rin, so Len gave Rin his clothes and changed into her clothes, and he, pretending to be Rin was in a cell, till to be executed,he got his head chopped off, then in the song before this, Rin makes a wish for him to be rejoined with her, and she goes back to the place where he died, and saw the blood

  • This is the song that ties the Clockwork saga to the Evil... I like it...

  • ganondorf is a jerk for possessing rin (dont tell me i fail cuz thats what happened ganondorf possessed rin and len and hatsune died because of it) and thank you magic bottle for saving len! (that was a joke btw i know whats up)

  • ganondorf is a jerk for possessing rin (dont tell me i fail cuz thats what happened ganondorf possessed rin and len and hatsune died because of it)

  • maybe its fr both even though ive never seen the clockwise series which i will see soon it has the 'lullaby' that you guys say and the picture that fit exactly the storyline of Evil series so yea :]

  • and leek in her hair o_O

  • er..... in what order is the Story of evil to be played?

  • @kater12me Daughter of Evil

    Servant of Evil

    Regret Message

Then, Re_Birthday, although it's actually a clockwork lullaby. It's also the answer song to Regret Message.

There's also Daughter of White by Haku, that tells the story from her point of view, up to Regret Message.

  • @zoe0seacat ty ^w^

  • DUDE THIS IS AWESOME THANK YOU!

  • Miku scared the crap out of me

  • According to Len in this song he heard a song, it's the Lullaby that starts with 'Luleela luleela'. That's the sign that its part of the Lullaby Clockwork. All songs of the said series has this 'Luleela luleela'.

  • wait i hear ppl saying this is the 4th part of the evil series and other ppl saying its the 3rd part of the clockwork series... im not sure~

  • @BlazingFire9871

Officially, it IS the third part of the the Clockwork Lullaby series. Akuno P meanwhile has never flat out confirmed whether Re_Birthday is also part of the Daughter of Evil series but did admit that it is suppose to be a response to "Regret Message" so chances are it is part of this series too.

  • Did I see a Cantarella reference?! At 1:50

  • The only part of this I don't understand is why he puts the words "water" and "evil" in the same sentence. Other than that, this is one of the two favorite songs I have of this series. XD This technically isn't even part of the Story of Evil; it's part of the Clockwork Lullaby series, lol.

  • @StormsEyeScepter Well, I can only guess, but I'm assuming that the water refers to the the ocean that Rin threw her wish into in "regret message" and evil... evil speaks for itself if you consider the evil series. Even if it's a pert of clockwork series (I seriously have to see that series this weekend) it does pull heavy references to the evil series so it's possible that it ties them together somehow.

  • This song is never part of Daughter of Evil series rather part of Clockwork Lullaby series. The third song.

  • @Yuuri27 acctually Re_birthday was the third part to the DoE series right after servant of evil

  • @YoukoKuwabara Isn't supposed to be 'Regret Message' by Rin? Then Len answered it with 'Re_Birthday'. That was according to the creator.

  • I seriously love this song, I love to sing the English Subs. :D

  • Think it should say Lupis Lazui or something like that, not luleela luleela

  • @Hollowden It is actually luleela but in others I see Lapis Lazuli

  • from 3:01 - 3:15 was akuno meshitsukai with a different tempo or rythm...

  • Comment removed

  • yay viet sub drawings :D

  • Isn't this song for the Zentai Series?

    (Clockwork's Lullaby-Rin

    Little Garden Girl-Miku

    Re-Birthday-Len

    Heartbeat(s) Clocktower-KAITO)?

  • @Archmimic Its Both. The worlds are connected somehow.

There is a song with TWO Rins meeting eachother.

Something about "To north, to South" By Rin AND Rin Kagaminet's

    Its odd i know.

  • @Archmimic It's used in both series

  • @Archmimic

Its part of the stoy of evil series

  • OMG I GET THE WHOLE STORY NOW! :D

The bottle with Rins wish in it was to be reborn and alas they were both reborn into VOCALOID.

  • At 1:24, The knight is Neru! OMG! Look at the hair! Its Neru!

  • Sounds nice.

  • how sad in that happy sort of way

  • 'i wonder if someone's singing a lullaby...' ... 'YOU!"

  • I really like the song and this PV!

Does anyone have the RAW version of this PV? Please share! I really need it!

  • One thing about this song always confuses me though. When the red and blue shackles dissolve so to speak, and they say "Your sins shall never be forgiven," doesn't that mean that for killing Miku, Meiko and Kaito will never forgive him? And yet, when he's reborn they're all together. Isn't that a contradiction?

  • @TheCorrinefluffy But then the song stated that it would be turned into a song. The song was the way of telling him, he can return, but he's not yet forgiven for his sins. That's how I see it anyway.

  • i love servant of evil and regret message.for daughter of evil i rather kaito's version lord of darkness

  • A quote kinda came to mind that is heavily emphasized in a certain game that recently released.

"How far are you willing to go for the one you love?"

A truly inspiring song, I never get tired of it. <3

  • isn't that from Heavy rain? :D *unimportant comment time*

  • Why, yes, yes it is. :'3

  • why only len? rin has sinned more then len did T^T

  • @yayanime94 you have to know the series, the reason only len is because rin is still alive.

  • @yayanime94 It's assumed, but never really explained, that Len switched places with Rin in "Servant of Evil" so that he was the one beheaded by Meiko, the "Daughter of Revenge", and Kaito, the "Lord of Darkness/Prince of Blue" and died in her place.

  • omg.... leek in a flower bouquet.... 1:10

  • She also had leeks in her hair! XD

  • @LissieAnimeOtaku LOL! i didn't notice that until i saw your comment xD

  • @LissieAnimeOtaku look good. Leek in a SKULL bouquet.

  • the best song for me in this series is

    SERVANT OF EVIL

  • Totally seconding Skyrius - this is the most understandable translation I've seen of Re_Birthday. Easy to read, too. I finally get what's going on! Thank you so much!

Also, I'd really love a video download, too, if you have one? (Downloaded via KeepVid, but I'd love one in non-flash format.)

  • Please see my channel profile for the download links to the vids :>

  • anyone got a download for this music video?

  • This is probably the most coherent and accurate sub I've yet to find of this song XD Thank you for posting this up
