I've got a six-core Phenom processor and an ATI Radeon HD 5450 with 1GB DDR5 memory, and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. I can't play it with it all maxed out with a high res because of the smaller memory I guess. that game takes a hit at your system and memory haha.

I dont get the UGT thing...this is how my game looks with a Q6600, 2GB's DDR2 and an eVGA GTS 8800 640MB...no tweaking except for -norestrictions and maxing everything out...

how do you overclock your cpu?

@erik9719 i overclocked it in the bios. I have a PhenomII 955 BlackEdition. So it have opened Multiplicators. But most CPU's don't have this option and you have to change s.th. on the Northbridge and so. (I'm not a pro in this, i just know the basics)

But you need a good cpu fan. My CPU is watercooled. Without overclocking i have roomtemperatur, with overclocking, and with 100% i got 50°C.

720p (1280 x 720) resolution isn't much bigger than 1024 x 768, tbh. The pixel area's are very similar. Last gen resolution is like 640 x 480 / 720 x 576, which is noticably lower. 1080p (1920 x 1080) makes a big difference, however.

My old monitor had this low resolution. But i bought a new one with Full-HD. GTA 4 still runs very smooth. (40 FPS on Full-HD, but i overclocked my CPU to 4x 3,8 GhZ)

@hsabi1 A good CPU is very important in this game. (quad core) I overclocked my CPU @3,8 GhZ. And know the game runs with minimum 40 FPS, all the time on Full HD.

@sesestro wrong! graphics aren't the same on PC and on the consoles. Textures are more hi-res on the pc, there are new shadows and other improvements.

@roym899 They just add more shadows and some effects and it still looks the same to me and more anti aliasing for the PC

and it's still looks the same but the only difference is PC looks better when you go higher resolution and so what if PC is way better the game story and gameplay are the same and i think the graphics from the console on 720p is the best compare to 1080p cause console can not support higher resolution so the texture are less i got high end PC but i still GTA IV on my 360&ps3

Which makes sense, more detail = more money...

except for the fact that Uncharted 2 looks better than pretty much anything the PC has to offer except for Crysis and very few others (that I haven't even heard of, but I'm assuming they MIGHT exist?)

And if you don't agree with that then look at Gran Turismo 5, half of the pictures of the cars side-by-side with real pictures of the car you legitimately cant tell the difference

@Cataclysm135 but in my led samsungfull hd the xbox 360 looks wonderful.

I put the Xbox 360 set to 1080p, and is much better than 720p, the chip ana / hana makes an optimal image processing for 1080p because the game was amazing in 1080p.

not much difference compared to my PC running at maximum

I think you're confused with my argument here. I'm not saying the Xbox doesn't produce spectacular graphics. I'm sure it looks great in full 1080p on a nice television but PC graphic cards and processors are made at a much higher rate than consoles. My card, in specific, was the best when I got it. Three months later, it was outdated. They'll always be ahead of the consoles in both speed and graphics.
