i learnt opera from a very young age which uses the same breathing and throat techniques in most regards but i was just able to do it when i tried it ages ago. if you wanna learn it check out the Zen Of Screaming parts 1 and 2 by Melissa Cross, great instructional dvds!

Very cool. Never heard of this band but I like the contrast between the demonic vocals and the medieval music. Never heard anything like this but I like it.

its just the way i sing it, the higher notes are pretty hard to hit without straining my voice, haven't mastered that technique fully yet

Its Ensiferum not Ensiferium, the growls are a bit hard to hear though but it twas cool. I loled at the cough.

whatever, but yeah after the cough i was able to sing so much better, the growls can be heard fairly well dude, its just that they are really low, the higher ones are the vocals from the cd, the low ones are me!
