make up itself isn't haram, just so long as you're not using it to attract men. it's actually a good thing to wear surmah (eye liner.) so basically if you're wearing makeup in front of men it just has to be kept light or discrete. and nail polish is only haram when you pray as you have to be in a state of cleanliness before prayer, and nail polish doesn't allow water to reach your fingernails. hope this has helped. peace. :)
