That's right. Kyon time-traveled back to when Haruhi was doing it. She never did it by herself, Kyon did it for her. It was too dark to see his face well, which is why Haruhi never recognized Kyon on when she met him in high school but said "Have we met before?"

he`s right the "quad scribble incident" how she used that powdered stuff the to create some crop circle type thing. now that i think of it the secound season might do some foreshadow technique and show haruhi's past and maybe even kyon's as well. hmm i read a comment saying that theres a thoery going around that kyon is god instead of haruhi and claims that haruhi met kyon three years ago... this might actullaly be the video of that actullay happening it makes sences... but yea its just a rumor

When he was telling Kyon about how Haruhi broke onto her old school campus and drew those circles trying to communicate with the aliens! XD That's hilarious! nope, this was 7/7/7 which was 3 years from Kyon's original time period, which is set in 2010, but Kyon Disguises himself as "John Smith"

Yea Kyon has to go back in time because like Haruhi disappears and he's the ONLY one who remembers her and this is partially due to his fault because well he DOES go back in time and meets Haruhi and makes that Original crop circle with her but he tells her that his name is John THAT'S why in Episode 1 Haruhi is like "Have I met you from somewhere or something?" and he's like "No" she asked if she met him because she HAD. But hasn't yet gone back into the past. It's in the light novels... XD

Well if you read the books, you will know that this is a chapter called something Rhapsody, and it's about Kyon traveling back helping the Haruhi from the past with the painting in her school yard, this event is the trigger of the future abilities of Haruhi

there were three people in the video... Haruhi (in the Past),Kyon (The future) & mikuru asahina (the future). Kyon helped haruhi writting "I AM HERE" on the field while mikuru fall asleep near the storage utility.

My suspisions were that they did meet, something had happened and then Haruhi Renewed the world! Thats why they all get all into it about the whole "3 years" thing because they dont know what happened before then.
