The intervention was completely necessary. The North of the island used as a safe haven for Turkish Cypriots was completely necessary. So Compensation instead of giving land back seems fair to me

It seems to me that when discussing the Cyprus issue, more emphasis is usually put on the Turkish invasion perpetrating the crisis than the Greeks fascist ideology and utter disregard with which they saw their Turkish compatriots.

Agreed. Adequate compensation seems fair to me also unless of course the Greeks want to claim there property to live in (hardly likely) they should also have that option
