Corrado turbo vs subaru wrx turbo

My corrado has an s3 lump in it, we think it has 200bhp at the wheels or near to it, pulls like a rocket, will spin the front wheels in fourth, this lump would re map easily! However I need to figure a way of keeping power on the straight and narrow! Power flexed up with good tyres, any ideas guys???

LOL the corrado is going to have the upper hand to begin with, but to defend the subaru, he hardly ever started from the correct gear. Was generally very low in the RPM when boost still has to spool. Good racing though.

Warscheinlich wiegt der Corrado auch noch weniger, und die 218PS gegen 260PS anzutreten naja. Wenn der Subaru noch 22PS mehr hat und nen besseren Fahrer dann zieht der Corrado nicht mehr davon. Teilweise war auch das Starten dumm gemacht, der Corradofahrer tritt voll durch und zieht davon und dann sagt der erst Start. Blöd gemacht find ich, denn normal sind die Allrad-Subarus echt sprintstark!

Die sind sprintstark "off the line" also von 0 los. (bedingt durch den 4wd kann son subi mehr power auf den boden bringen beim anfahren) während der fahrt ist der aufwändige allradantrieb zu leistungsfressend !

That wouldn't make sense, my Dads old Turbo 2000 was putting out 397bhp and 424 Pounds Ft of torque, raced a Nova 2.0L redtop that was only putting out 180 - 200bhp... The Nova shat all over us till we passed 150. My only comment to this video is, they're both good cars, but try comparing them round windy, sharp, country roads... Then you'll see why that guy bought a Scooby (whether he's gay or not)

Try as it might, the Subaru just can't reel in the Volkswagen. Great exhaust note from the VW & engine noise from the Subaru. Turbo lag seems to of killed its' chances. Once ahead, the Corrado was a tough cookie. It was interesting hearing the different shift points between the two.

That's a 1.8T in the corrado, making "only" 260 hp with a few more bolt ons it could be making upwards of 350 reliable and usable horsepower.
