@BrodyLuv2: There is no connection between testing of nuclear weapons in space and global warming. More formally, if you think there is some such connection, could tyou put forward your evidence? I'd be interested to learn I am mistaken.
Between 1949 and 1998 there were around 1500 Live Nuclear Bombs Detonated in 'Trials'..that is more than would be Launched in the event of a Nuclear War.
The entire Planets DNA is loaded as a result of this Fallout..Ever wonder why Cancer rates are Climbing so quickly..!?
@BrodyLuv2: No, I don't. I've learned that there are more deaths by cancer today than there were, say, 50 years ago because many infectious diseases, the primary cause of deaths before that time, have been brought to heel. With disease gone, there are now only three outs left for most of us: accident, heart and circulatory disease, and cancer.
NCI says testing added 120,000 extra cases of thyroid cancer and 6,000 deaths in 50 years of testing.
@larspallesen: It's pretty likely most of it wound up back on Earth, very thinly scattered all over. Since it didn't pick up dirt and stuff from the ground, it was probably pretty clean for a nuke.
@nils4545 yeah.. EMP is the best Weapon "for me" because it will deal more damage to a nation than the Direct Explosion of a nuclear.. Imagine a whole country without Electricity Atms wont work there will be no water because the Pump will lose elec. a whole nation would be in chaos and destroy itself because of EMP
@Croopy001 Not fake. U.S did alot of these space experiments, crazy bastards. Sometimes radios and other stuff would stop function for days, lol. What did they expect xD.
@nils4545: No. No reports of such damage from the tests in the Pacific except for ionospheric disruptions, no equipment destruction as far as I know. The Soviets managed to burn a power plant in Khazakhstan from EMP; that's the worst that has happened, as far as I've been able to find out.
Too bad our solar system wasnt part of a nebula made from highly flammable gases....Probably the treaty was signed not long after.... no big booms in space lol !!
@w0mblemania good point, but also you don't see many penguins with aerosols or fridges either ;)

Ehm, wait a second? They exploded an H bomb 50 km above the earth surface? And the radioactive fall out from the detonation ended ... where?
