The Japanese are Cameron fans did you know that? as much as Cameron is a fan of Japanese cinema and Japanese animation mainly Hayao Miyazaki/Ghibli productions as you can tell Ghibli was an influence on Avatar mainly with Nausicaa and Princess Mononoke.

After the first trailer I've seen I thought I will never watch this shit.

But then yeah I watched it in the cinema in 3D and

it was faszinating. This movie is one of the bests I've ever seen!

If I have the DVD I will watch this movie again and again.

See, the Japanese peeps are smart when it comes to airing films and shows, they have it subbed.

But here in the West we have to go to extreme lengths to find the originals and subs are even harder to find, most of them subbed by the fans themselves.

they have it going in imax english with jap subs and imax japanese dubs. They used to have it in regular 3d and regular 2d in english with jap subs but those two options finished a while ago. I live in japan so thats how I know. The enlglish with jap subs is still selling out theatres everyday.

I watched this movie... its awesome... its realy another world if you are watching it! Titanic? nothing! Avatar? i can´t explain it... you have to watch it in 3D .... its WOW ... it´s unbelievable ... it is just a movie but such a great movie... heaven´t seen it? you missed something you won´t believe!!!! trust me

There is nothing wrong with watching a movie, or anything in its native language.

You get to experience the emotion from the characters that was intended to be seen.

I ask myself that every time I see someone plugging some pirated version of it online. I saw it in theatres twice. Once on a normal screen, and next in IMAX 3D. After seeing it in IMAX can't imagine anyone wanting to see it on a blurry computer monitor. But if they don't want to spend a little extra cash, they're the ones missing out.

@Sajirah i found a site streaming it and ALMOST watched it. Found free movie tickets in my room, and went to go see it in 3-d 2 days later... 2 days after that i made plans with a friend to go see it in IMAX. It really is like you're in a dream this movie is amazing.
