I personally don't think 'ovulation' fits in with the context at all.

It's supposed to be 'Now that you know I'm trapped, sense of elation.' The interchangeable objects referred to as by 'it' and 'you' throughout the song (love? drugs?) has robbed the narrator of freedom (I wanted freedom, Now that I'm restricted) he wants out but he's needs it (I try to give you up but I'm addicted) for the sense of happiness this thing gives him (Now that you know I'm trapped, Sense of elation).

I don't have a copy of the CD to know for sure, I could be wrong, you can get at least two version of the lyrics or more on the web and many have the ovulation version, the "now that you know I'm trapped since ovulation" version makes more sense in context with that line (and how it applies to MK in general)not to mention all their music in general, the "now that you know I'm trapped...sense of elation" doesn't make sense contextually. The official muse website doesn't have lyrics either.
