After her performances she often go bust. She died in the age of 38 in 1986 and in last minutes before her death she was still singing. Ladka was the best czech musical singer, when Barbra visited Prague, where shot her movie Yentl, she visited czech version of musical Hello Dolly a she do homage to Ladka.

Patti's tone is really ugly, that's why she is not considered as one the most beautiful voices in earth but one of the best vocalist, did you see the difference. Mariah, Whitney, Barbara, Celine , they all have or had both, the beauty of the tone and the high power.

Though I totally believe Barbra is way more in touch with this than Patti, I do love Patti and I CERTAINLY BELIEVE you are entitled to your opinion. :D. It's all about the music.
