At 0:20, I agree with Jeremy, because I don't like the Shrew, infact, I hate her. She was impatient with Martin, jealous of Brisby, brutal with the crow, disloyal to the rats, and it was probably her fault Brisby got replaced by Timmy & Jenny. It was her all along, but she made one fatal mistake: she was loudmouthed about all that. Just because she owns half the field, doesn't mean she has the power to run the rest of us!
@Jam24511 Personally I've always thought of her as good, but stern and a bit snappish (Okay, not always - but I was a bit too young to understand things like character depth when I first saw the film).
Generally I like characters that can do good deeds without being pleasant.
@Jam24511 Don't know who George Bailey is and I haven't seen The Grinch in forever - but isn't Scrooge more of a "Heel Face Turn" - a jerk who then makes a personality turn during the story before he does good?
For a famous example I was thinking more along the lines of Snape whom fans now celebrate as a tragic hero while he was nothing but vile around most characters.
@aryllia FYI, George Bailey is from It's a Wonderful Life, I recommend you see the Grinch again, Scrooge does turn good for a miser, and Snape has turned out to be the Half Blood Prince. What good is that?
