why is it that this kinda looks better than the final release? the colors look a lot better, seriously.

yes, but you can use them only for slashing, not shooting.

Hmm this comes as a interesting suprise to me because originally, Soul Reaver was introduced to me when I was little and I got it for the Sega Dreamcast.

I notice a lot of musical and psychical changes in the Playstation version. This is how everything looked like in D - cast. Did I accidently get a beta?

pc version is very different from the ps version because it is just a port. the same goes for dreamcast (but it has updated graphics). Beta was only made for the playstation.

nope, SR was published for playstation in the first place.
