Hi thanks for the video. I'm new to makeup and I bought some eyeshadow base because I assumed it was the same as a primer. Which I thought a primer helps keep the shadows on the eye longer. But anyway what is the difference between a base and a primer? Can you help me out with that question. Thanks!

@whitneydenise88 If you don't mind me helping, you use a primer on your eye first. The primer keeps your eyeshadow from creasing and it helps it last all day long. Some well known eyeshadow primers are Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance. The eyeshadow base is what you use on top of the primer. The bases makes your eyeshadow color POP and makes it more vibrant. Hope this helps and have a good day!!!!
