  • Hahaha I was lucky enough to be recording my 7-10 split. I dunno where the sd card was though, I had it on my old phone

  • So, what brand toaster did u record this with? :)

  • not luck he made it..luck he just happened to be recording it.

  • @knightrdrx No, it was definitely luck that he made it too.

  • lucky fucker :)

  • it must be very slim and accurate/

  • he didnt have to do ballet out of screen he just knocked some pins down

  • if i gave out 1 dollar for every pixel in this video.. I'd give out 1 dollar.

  • I did the same thing in my bowling league and nobody saw it

  • What a shame... No one there to see it... But we sure as crap did! Thank you for posting...

  • its just random u have 7-10 shot crappy quality kindve setup.... :)

  • 228,000+ people have never had a 7-10 split

  • 11 people are mad they didnt make the 7-10 lol

  • Nice shot but what did u film it with a potato?

  • @webzzzter haha no potato, it was 8mm film camcorder on tripod originally, then played through old crt tv and filmed with a crappy digital camera many years ago

  • @webzzzter more like a calculator

  • good thing you had the camera seeing as no one was there

  • @gaschwarck I did another time with no witness or record, and never told anyone about it until now, heh.

  • good shot

  • Tried to hit 7 10 with 32 mph but it doesnt bounce !!!!

  • I like your reactione dude . up top !

  • Excellent cover.

  • It would of been MUCH more awesome if people saw it. Great shot tho.

  • Recorded on a calculator.

  • fishkill bowl!

  • @DeanPeen

    indeed!

  • simply lucks but not physical...

  • empty ass alley...if this wasnt on tape noone would believe you lol...good shot bro

  • lol empy ass bowling alley..if this wasnt on tape noone would believe you...got got bro

  • @gtprix99

Yup I was the only person who saw it, not a single other person was bowling in the whole house. The guy behind the desk was turned away and didn't see it either.

  • i was at the alley with my dad he started to kid around and on porpose got a split. he took to bowling balls threw them at the same time and got em both it was so funny!

  • @packers97100 two* not to

  • FAKE AND GAY.

  • @wowthese explain how thats fake fucking troll?

  • @wowthese

    nice failed job of trolling

  • @wowthese

    No.

  • @wowthese Yeah, you are right! You are fake and gay!

  • fishkill bowl, in fishkill, ny?

  • @DethRail

    yes & yes

  • The only tip in shooting at the 7-10 is to throw at the pin on the side with the ball return. Theres extra equipment on that side which makes it more likely to bounce back out of the pit.

Ten pin on the left lane and Seven pin on the right lane

  • should be 5 7 10.. for bowling experts its easier than 7 10 and all you have to do is hit the 5 into eather 7 or 10 then the pin will needa hit the other pin

  • hard and straight at the 10...i just got my first one the other day

  • i can never get the 7-10 split conversion because am 2 busy getting strikes

  • very nice>.>

  • Very nicely done! :D

  • ive never made the 7-10

i keep chipping a piece off of the left of the 7 and it barely even gets close to the 10

  • ur talking bollocks mate

  • Does anyone ever pick up the conversion without getting lucky?

  • no. there is no way to pick it up without getting lucky. thats y its the hardest split out there. the trick is just throw it REALLY fast

  • I'd disagree, the hardest split is the 5-7-10

  • @Apatt14 Because you fail, doesn't mean everyone else does too.

  • pft nothing special here people...i pick up probably 9 or even 10 7-10 splits per week.

  • Film a few.

  • well for some ppl its not as easy. not everybody can lauch it down the lane at

    20+ mph

  • @strongsock Ha, even IF you were telling the truth and you picked up that many a week, that would mean you left 9 or 10 7-10 splits per week. Which means you pretty much suck.

But theres no way your telling the truth in the first place so just think before you open your mouth.

  • @breathtakingevil2 LOL someone has no sense of humor. Of course I dont pick up or leave that many......lol

  • Wow nice shot! I'd be lucky just to get the ball to the pin lol

  • The only conversions I've seen happen to be on new-looking, fancy lanes like this. What if your local lanes are small, old, and shitty? Does it ruin your chances?

  • small old shitty lanes really fuck up your chances at anything bouncing out of the back. plus newer lanes have kick plates designed to increase pin action.

  • @strongsock Oh, I never knew that. Thanks for the info; I guess I'll have to look into practicing on other lanes when I'm goin' for that split. My local lanes have been around for at least 50 years and never have had major renovations since!

  • yea, i used to bowl on really old lanes, and no one would even get messengers.... in new lanes i see myself and others get messengers on almost every shot

  • Rock 'n' roll bro! That was way cool. I've been bowling for a little over 30 years and I've only picked this one up once. I chucked the ball hard at the 7, hit the inside of it, it snapped off the sidewall and rolled into the ten. Cool....

  • Nearly identical to the shot you made here, just from the other side! xD

  • I made this for the first time last Thursday. It was a miracle.

  • i love how you ppl say he got lucky, no shit he got lucky, who doesnt when they pick up a 7 10.

  • @tuocal With a lot of spin, hitting the inside of the 7 pin, throwing from the right side of the lane and barely hitting the 7, it will bounce over and get the 10. Done it a few times.

  • @tuocal: agreed 100% if anything, this is the surest method to hit the 7-10 esp if you're smaller built and can't launch the ball >25mph...this is similar to how jess stayrook made this same shot in july of '91...

  • @tuocal i can pick up te 7-10 on my mini bowling lane.

  • 7/10 conversions arent that hard to pick up these anymore, my bowling coach picks them up 95% of the time.

    Either way, good job.

  • @TheBluigi sure sure sure that's why u looked it up right? ur coach gets them all the time why u need to look it up on youtube?? yeah, exactly

  • Let's all be happy that the split was made! lol. I got robbed once by making it come out of the pit and tapping the 10 (i aimed for 7)... it danced for a bit but then stopped.

  • Dude that was awesome.

  • That looked like a really luckey hit.

  • aren't all 7-10 splits

  • Yes but I usualy hear it called the 7-10 split.

  • yeah but plural its splits

  • how do u make the 7 10 split

  • you rub a buddah find a genie then wish you make it.

  • get lucky

  • wow kaine yea right. i have thrown the ball 26. thaats a hard ball. i always throw at least 22 at my big splitts and put a lot of reaction on ball

  • Nice shot. And to all you retards arguing over how fast the ball was traveling, I play regularly in alleys that clock the ball speed on each throw. The best bowlers in the world rarely throw harder than 18 mph. 14-16 mph is average for a hard thrown ball.

  • except when you are robert smith, and you covert your spares at 30mph

  • Or Sean Rash, Tommy Jones, the list can go on.

  • Osku too

  • Or Scott Demirjian. Cuz he made it less than a week ago. Ballin'.

  • Chris banres, pete weber, tommy jones, was malott and many more are averaging speeds of 19-20 mph, but they can afford to because of their revrates.

  • wow!! either ur gd or just lucky!!

  • after 13 seconds you can see that this is being video'd off a tv if you look at the left of the screen

  • Thats his shirt :P look carefully its because he is in the shade with a dark shirt :P

  • @Pacquiaoifyable

That is correct and sadly the original media is lost.

  • thats about 45 mph

  • wow..the guy made a 7-10 split, and all everyone is doing is arguing about physics!

  • 21 mph my ass lol nice shot though

  • that was alot faster than 21 mph...

i hope your not trying to say it was slower.

  • Good shot... No need to get into the science of the shot, right?

  • @CMcNicol There is a higher percentage of a way to do it...that is for sure

  • nice shot. looks kinda like he is filming a tv though. a 15 pound ball will not hit as hard as a 16 pound ball. there prob b much difference. prob not even noticable but there is a difference. i might not b that smart buts that science. USBC prob just couldnt detect the very small difference there was

  • honestly KB24ts6 is right, by the law of physics a heavier object carries more momentum. i mean we are talking about 1 lb so its not really gunna make a difference but the 16 will carry more momentum then a 15... its physics

  • umm... who cares? Why should anyone give a damn about bowling ball weight and carry. I'm pretty sure the bowling balls coverstock and drilling also has something to do with it... am i right? (and entry angle)

  • do you think im retarded? i understand what causes carry, wieght is one of the factors, kicking the corner pin is more entry angle then anything at all. and if you throw a 10 pound ball and a 16 pound ball, same speed and tilt and all that, what will carry better? anyway, im done argueing, cause i really dont care what science "Proves" cause, science also tells people they cant walk again, and thats the most sophisticated technology...that makes tons of errors

  • Nice shot

  • that shot's legit, unlike the other ones... :D

  • Fixed

  • that was luck. Lol. Nice though

  • Nobody cheered?

  • Average starting weight for men is 14lbs and for ladies either 10 or 12lbs.

  • thats true but now most men or boys throw 16's and woman or girls throw 12-14's

  • actually, nobody really uses 16's anymore. most men use 15lb gear these days, carries just as well, if not better than 16. there's only a few professionals still using 16's, actually.

  • you high? 16s will always carry better then 15s, unless your looking at a 10 year old 16 pound ball, and a 15 pound Cell or something...

  • you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. studies on the dynamic properties of 15 and 16lb bowling balls show no measurable difference in carry between the weights.

scientific data says you don't know what you're talking about.

  • i bowl with both 15 and 16 pound balls, and i can tell the difference, Scientific data might not be able to tell the difference. In Theory the 16 pound ball hits harder then the 15 pound ball. I want to see your proof that 15 hits just as hard

  • USBC has conducted studies using a machine designed to deliver the ball at any number of specific parameters and will deliver the ball identically every time based on those parameters. their studies show no difference in carry between 15 and 16lb equipment.

you keep proving that you don't know what you're talking about. "hit" correlates to a number of factors, ranging from ball speed, rotation, axis tilt and trajectory/angle of entry. ANY ball will "hit", including plastic at the right angle

  • so we are trusting the machines now? Explain to me how you knock the corner pins down, with out "hitting" the pins?

What gets deflected easier, 15 pound ball or a 16 pound ball? Heavier equals more carry

  • no, heavier DOESN'T equal more carry. speed/rotation/tilt/entry angle into the pocket = carry. you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, i know more about lane play and angles than you'll ever understand.

i've been using 15lb equipment for years and if i leave ONE corner pin a night, it's a lot. carry is a factor of multiple things, ball weight is NOT one of them. corner pins are a result of too much or not enough rotation/speed/entry angle, not ball weight.

  • in fact, some experts even argue that 14lb is the "magic" weight and that carry is optimal at THAT weight. USBC's machine is deadly accurate in all aspects, it doesn't make errors like humans do. it's the most sophisticated technology in the bowling world and it's results are flawless.

    look it up for yourself.

  • taz your right!!! I work for a proshop and we have been shown substantial evidence on theories behind weights and if u look at any asymmetrical or symmetrical ball, the RG Diff, for MOST 15 pound balls are higher than any other weight causing the reaction to be better than a 16 pound ball. Read about "Harry" that is the machines name and it is there that it has been proven that there is no evidence in weights of 15 or 16. also read about weight holes, 90% of them do not effect the roll at all!

  • And here is another note that might blow your mind, if your throwing at single pins (mainly 7 and 10) you have a better chance of having the pin come back on deck, or deflect as shown in the video if you loft the ball a little bit. And coming from a lefty that throws at the 7-10 very much the same way as this guy does it is true.

  • whoa... i just realized something dude... In your description you claim that your ball was 15lbs. 10 ounces, but that would make it illegal since it can only weigh between 13 and 3 ounces along with any given pound (up to 16 lbs. 3 ounces). Oh well...

  • how is it illegal then?

15lbs and 10 oz is legal

  • 16oz in a pound big boy

  • LOL you're a moron. a legal bowling ball can weigh anywhere between 6 and 16lbs, with the maximum weight being no more than 16.0. fucking idiot

  • thanks.

  • sooo badass!!!!

  • what are you talking about? are you saying that if you hit a pin and it comes out of the back then it doesn't count?

  • you dont know anything about bowling do you?

  • hey dumb ass!

    it does count!

    haha

    owned!

  • dumbass

  • Dude ur the biggest dumbass ever!! U must not know anything about bowling!! It counts if it hits the back bro...

  • one of my good friends made this but didnt get the mark cause it was from a 6 7 10

  • ya know, I'm going to have to say that I do believe this was legit, although it just looks different than most conversions. Usually, the 10 pin will come back up onto the deck if you hit it on the left-hand third of the pin. However, it looked like you hit it very thin, and that's why I was skeptical. Yesterday, I left the 7-10 split and hit the 10 pin perfectly, watching it pop out of the back, roll across the deck, and slam into the left wall right in front of the 7 pin... Oh well. Haha :D

  • sssssaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmeeeee such an awful break

  • yeah, it's a real tease for the 2 seconds that it's rolling across the deck :p

  • so if he was filming himself and went to the camera after the shot, it seems like he had tried many times.. i wonder if he had set up a bunch of 7 10s til he got one

  • You could set up the 7-10 a thousand times and never pick it. I doubt that is what he was doing.

  • Nice!

Lol, he was celebrating the shot! alone..

  • nice pick up!! i almost made a 7-10 the other day i bounced the 10 in front of the 7 pin

  • fag

  • Oh snap! So that's how it's done! I keep trying to cut it left which is impossible! Gotta find a way to pin it on the wall with some ball help and a little luck. Grats!

  • Don't listen to people who say this is fake, nice shot dude.

  • I have picked up the 7-10 twice... 7/7/06, and 7/17/2008. Very Nice pick up. :)

  • looks pretty real to me

  • where is this hawian bowl hawiie

  • I've only came close once, and the 10 pin bounced off the wall, and rolled over to the 7, never hit it cuz it didn't roll fast enough. Oh well, nice shot :)

  • Very nice. I haven't left the 7-10 too many times (thank god!) but I haven't come very close to making it. haha.

I noticed that is Fishkill Bowl. I've been bowlin there for 9 years. Who are you?

  • nice pick up man. I'm a 215 average bowler and have never picked this one up. keep it up...

  • Wow, very nice. I have gotten close on the 7-10 but never pulled it off. Congradulations

  • actually... i hate to say this, but I'm going to have to agree. This looks really altered. And the sound is miles away from the video.

  • lol amatuers

  • and who are you?

  • Wtf,, why should i tell you,,??

stop uselessly flaming people, this is a nice conversion thats all there is to it...

  • haha. that time of the month again? perhaps this was legit. I would be wrong. However, I used facts in my assumption. I could have been wrong, and he might have actually made this split. But to call someone an "amatuer" in a disrespectful way and to whine because someone's perception is different from yours is incredibly immature. When you catch me on ESPN around 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon try not to be too surprised.

  • I don't think we ever have to worry about seeing you on ESPN any Sunday soon.

  • i don't know why that would "worry" you anyway...

  • If you pick up some linguistic skills you can become familiar with the term " figure of speech."

  • You're not worth my time nor linguistics which explains why I haven't simply thrashed you yet. Should your childish habits surpass any maturity you might doubtfully possess, you'll reply with more pointless prose that has, so far, proven to be nothing more than diarrheal text oozing from your sad excuse of a vocabulary. On the other hand, if you're the more mature of us, you'll grow a pair and not respond to this message, proving that you claim some decency. I wonder what your choice will be?

  • I'm not worth your time but your comment towards me is close to a paragraph.

  • how the hell would you even come close to justifying that? you see him throw one shot.... a 7-10 shot... so he prolly threw it HARDER and more Awkward than a normal shot.... not to mention that he MAKES it..... and then you leave a comment trying to say hes bad?.... Fuck you trans

  • You really are retarded. I'm not even talking about the guy in this video, I'm talking about BowlerScott. Stop making stupid comments if you don't know what's going on dumbshit.

  • wow...no shit dude? It was on a cell phone camera from the looks of it

and we all know those have perfect audio, right

  • dang brotha, let it go. this was at least a month ago...

  • alright i will, but that just ticked me off cuz it was a stupid justification to your claim of this being fake

  • That ticked you off? If a youtube comment is the worst of your problems thenmaybe you should take up a hobby or something... Sheesh.

  • no youtube comments don't bother me.

    ignorant fools do, though.

  • well you can watch this ignorant fool bowl a 300 by searching for "scott 300 game" if ya want... didn't mean to upset anybody. just voicing my opinion.

  • hmm..i might just have to search that...

  • get a life you tell everyone to search that on every video wtf man lol congrats yuou bowled a 300 but i mean seriously its called staying modest so just relax.

  • just trying to get some tips and input...

  • thats so amazing. congratulations.

  • congrats man. i've bow tied a few pins, none when the 7 or 10 is standing though!

  • congratulations.

  • Good shot!

  • how come he didnt scream?

  • nice!

  • Epic.

  • great shot
