  • Hyperdunk, Enforcer, or Fuse? Which one is better?

  • When will the rose 2.5 video be out

  • @nightwing2303 I just bought a pair of hyperdunk 2011 tb's, i could help but notice that i couldn't feel the zoom air in the forefoot in the TB's, but when i tried on the regular hyperdunks (not TB's) the zoom air was easy to feel

Is there a usually a difference in the performance between the regular Hyperdunks vs. the TB's?

  • what does a zoom bag do please answer!

  • ive recently had trouble dtermining my shoe size because im usually a 12 but i got a hyperdunk 2010 in 12 but my big toe always gets bruised and sometimes bleeds with them.. any ideas? or how much room i should leave between end of shoe and big toe when choosing shoe size???

  • @Andrew6James you should get your thumb into the back of your shoe when your big toe is against the front(Can be a little snug). Any more is to big any less is to small.

  • Are these any different from the lows? Besides high top

  • would these work out good outdoor? thx

  • if compare to hyperfuse, which one you prefer especially for outdoor?

  • how long would u say it can last in a outdoor court?

  • A SneakerGuy And A ComicGuy My Kinda Dude

  • which do you think is a better basketball shoe, the hyperdunk 2011 or the adidas adizero crazy light?

  • @ThatGuyFrom711 ima giv you my opinion. HYPERDUNK all d way

  • where can i get these?

  • I need those laces hahaha u play ball in just swap em out and sell me the mango one I got $10 and some new blk one : )

  • Would you sell any of your shoes?

  • Blake Griffin Edition those are sweet

  • How come these didnt make the top 5?

  • @IMakeTheDing2 - I didnt think they were a top 5 shoe.

  • @nightwing2303 what were the top 5 shoes?? (and what you think of the new hyperenforcers)

  • do u think the lows are much different?

  • @MrBatboy12 - Other than the cut of the shoe there isnt a difference.

  • Which do you prefer: Hyperdunk 2011 x Kobe VI x Crazy Light

  • @BatteForgeAdicted - I did a top 5 performance shoe vid already which has the answer.

  • Can u make an adiZero Ghost Performance Review ?

  • What shoe would you say is better, the LeBron 9 or the Hyperdunk 2011?

  • @smurpheto - They played nearly the same for me personally so it depends if you can really use what the shoes have to offer.

  • @nightwing2303 Awright thanks, because I've ordered 9's off Nike ID and I was worrying when I watched the review.

  • @nightwing2303 Which Traction was Better for you nightwing: the hyperfuse or this one?

  • @thebballtruth42 - Hyperdunk

  • What do you think are better these or hd supremes?

  • @stopmotionstudios25 - Either or, theyre the same shoe.

  • can u rate these?

  • @titancomedy1 - Not at this time but for the next HD I will for sure.

  • Hey how do these fit? Are they true to size?

  • @cornisgood613 They are true to size but if you have a wide foot go a half size up

  • What marks do you give to this sneakers? Do you recommend this shoes for a small forward?

  • @odry96 - I would recommend them for a Smalle Forward or PF.

  • comment

  • i hate the toe top lik i lean forward when im on the free throw line or when i jump

  • Whats your real name?

  • this a good shoe for power forwards/centers

  • @Aliballer - Forwards yes, the centers may want to look into the Air Max version for cushion or if you prefer lighter weigh then these would be fine.

  • what do you think about the air jordan cp3 iv

  • @TheMiamiHeatFan361 - I didnt like them, thought the materials on the toe were all too stiff. The Cp3.V look nice though.

  • Where can i buy these in a 13? I looked all over nike.com and eastbay.com but they dont have em.

  • @psychoxxpanda - May want to try amazon... maybe? I dont wear large sizes so I tend not to notice things like that. I have noticed that discount stores like Ross and Nordstrom Rack carry large sizes often.

  • I have the kobe 6's and I'm looking to replace them (they're getting pretty worn down)

Should I get these or the D. Rose 2's??? I'm a point guard but I'm pretty short (6' 3") so I can do some pretty "quick" stuff/breaks.

  • @TheTraceurBoy - I prefer the Rose & kobe to the HD. If I really like a shoe I will buy another pair or two for when the first ones are worn out. The Rose need break in time with the midsole so upon first try on they dont feel great but once you break them in they are great shoes in my opinion.

  • @TheTraceurBoy Since when is 6'3" short? lol I'm 5'9" on a really good day.

  • 1:08 lmfao sounds like my monday night

  • I just bought these and was wondering if they look good off the court as well (I don't have the same colorway as you though)

  • @Celticfan916 - Thats really up to you. A lot of the newer performance shoes dont transition well to of court use IMO but I wouldnt knock a person for rocking them casually.

  • would you recommend these or the Kobe 6's? I'm looking for a shoe with great cushioning, traction, and breathability. i dont really care about the low top thing either.

  • @aznman240 - I personally prefer the Kobe 6 over the HD.

  • @nightwing2303 what about the adizero rose 2? compared to the kobe 6's?

  • @aznman240 - I prefer the rose over the kobe

  • Helphelphelphelp I just got the hyperfuse 2011 I was so excites to play in them once I got on court the right side of my foot started hurting. I have wide feet but my left foot feels fine is it uneven soles? I really don't want to return them and I bought them true to size

  • @MrBatboy12 - Your right foot is prob just shaped slightly diff than your left. This happens to me all the time. If your left foot is perfectly fine while the other hurts while playing you can take them back or you can wear them around the house as often as possible when not playing to help break them in faster. The Fuse material will take more time to break in so keep that in mind.

  • Dude, would you recommend this to a wide footed person like me? or what size would you suggest that would fit me well, my original size is 10. Thanks bro, more power!

  • @megydolem15 - I wouldnt know what sz for you since you would have to try them on, they are available at nearly every retailer so hitting up a shop to try on is best. They do fit narrow, good for me... bad for you lol.

  • @nightwing2303

thanks bro, yeah they kinda fit narrow even if it's half size bigger than my normal size. anyway thanks!

  • @megydolem15 - Yeah you may need something that is a bit more flexible as far as the upper is concerned if you have a narrow fitting shoe, which these arent the most felxible.

  • are the hyperfuse 2011 any good

  • @supershoeman824 - Theyre basically the same as last years with a few tweaks made to the upper. I wrote a comparison on my site, nightwing2303 dot c o m.

  • Man i had a huge problem with these, I could feel the laces through the tongue padding it felt really bad...i had to lace them up over and over until it felt just a little less-constricting...but i absolutley love the cushoning, though the tongue made it horrible for me.

  • @This7is7my7Insanity - Yeah man, thats what I was saying in the vid. I had to constantly mess with the laces to get them to fit comfortably on the top, everything else was fine but man was it annoying.

  • @nightwing2303 hey i have one more question that i think you can answer. Do you think the NIke Max Fly By basketball shoes in black and purple are good for comfort, off court style, and do you think the colorway is nice? Thanks for your answer.

  • @TheBaseballLiker - In my personal opinion, a lot of todays performance shoes arent that great looking casually. It depends on your personal preference though so dont let what I think stop you from doing you. As for comfort, they have the heel air max bag so the heel is very comfortable. The forefoot has a softer phylon used since there is no cushion but it feels fine to me.

  • What shoe do u think has the best ankle support? I don't want to be rolling my ankles any more u no

  • @OGjays67 - There is no such thing as ankle support IMO, only ankle restriction. The better the fit and lockdown, the less likley you are to have an ankle injury.

  • im a powerfoward and sometimes a center should i get this?

  • @gisselly8796 - You would be fine in them. These are made for nearly every position. If you prefer air max over zoom you might want to wait for the air max hyperdunks to drop.

  • @nightwing2303 oh thanks :) but what do i use cleaning my hyperdunks 2011, put it on a washing machine?

  • @TheMewto10 - NO, never put shoes in the washing machine. Just wipe them down with a damp cloth or use shoe cleaner on them. RestoreMySneakers has great cleaning tips.

  • @nightwing2303 in your opinion, is hyperdunk 2011 better than lebron 8 v.2?

and im a shooting guard and center in games, is hyperdunk 2011 ok for my position in basketball games?

and for my last question, how should you clean your hyperdunk 2011 shoes?

  • @TheMewto10 - The best thing about the Hyperdunk is that its a shoe built for nearly all possitions. Overall the LeBron 8 and HD have diff atributes that are better than one another. Hyperdunk has better traction while the LeBron 8 has great cushion and superior lockdown fit.

  • nice ass

  • @nightwing2303- should i get these or the zoom kobe 6's?

  • @Zamorak15395 - Prefer the Kobes over these but Im not a HD fan.

  • @nightwing2303 Hey i have another question, I'm 14 and trying out for the school team and i was wondering what shoe would be best for a shooting guard, small forward, or power forward

  • @Zamorak15395 - You will want to look for things that cater to your needs. Traction, cushion and all that stuff. Once you find a few pairs that have waht you are looking for you can start narrowing them down to a small list and I can help you from there based on personal opinion.

  • can you please help me....im torn between hyperdunk, fly wade and cp3 iv...what will you recommend?

  • @zaza09 - I dont like the CP3.IV. The Fly Wade for me were better overall compared to the HD based on court feel, fit and flexibility. The HD are very nice though and great for all types of players.

  • @nightwing2303 thanks for the reply...a follow up question though....if for outdoor games, what would you prefer using...and whats more durable..thanks again

  • @zaza09 and can you suggest any other shoe that would be great for playing outdoors..thanks a lot...

  • @zaza09 - The KD3 are very durable and would be a great outdoor option as well as the Hyperfuse. My personal fav outdoor shoe so far has been the LeBron Soldier 3. Its not an outdoor specific shoe but it did very well outdoors.

  • @nightwing2303 thanks a lot nightwing...last thing though.....can you give a ranking within this following shoes....

    HD2011

    hyperfuse

    LB Soldier 3

    flywade

    thanks alot again

  • @zaza09 - Soldier 3, wade, hyperfuse, hyperdunk

  • @nightwing2303 thanks a lot nightwing

  • @nightwing2303 i fwe will throw lebron 9 on that list of shoes?where will it rank?

  • @zaza09 - Not sure yet, havent had a chance to play in them.

  • @nightwing2303 and im thinking of using the hd2011 indoors and flywade outdoors, would you reccomend me doing that?

  • @zaza09 - Id reverse that personally. Wade indoor and HD outdoor.

  • Hey is the shoes very thin? Im planing of buying it but im afraid that its too tight and will hurt my feet when playing

  • @CommunistChocolate - The upper materials are thin but not in a bad way. They are narrow though so you will want to try them on if you plan on purchasing.

  • @nightwing2303 thx but are these shoes meant for indoor? what if i wear them for out door?

  • @CommunistChocolate - They can be used for outdoor. If you wish to NikeiD them, they have an outdoor specific option for the outsole so theyll last longer.

  • @nightwing2303 haha thx ur words really helped alot. subbed XD

  • @nightwing2303. Are the nike zoom 2011 hyperfuse more durable and comfortable than these?

  • @MrGranters11 - I wouldnt say either is more durable than the other. Hyperdunks have Fuse, Mesh and Flywire so they are very sturdy. They also have heel and forefoot zm air so they are comfortable too. I prefer the Hyperfuse for myself personally bc of the lower profile midsole so I was a bit closer to the ground. Hyperdunks are made for all players while Hyperfuse cater towards Guards.

  • what do you think the best shoe for a smaller quick point guard?

  • @wade4mvp1000 - Depends on what you are looking for in the shoe itself. Traction, cushion ect.

  • you always do performance reviews...but are you any good at basketball??????nice review btw

  • @TheSneakerRobot - Thanks, and Im good enough... there is some footage on my site of one of my league games.

  • @nightwing2303 I need your help deciding what shoes to get! I am in 8th grade on my school basketball team. My parents are getting me some basketball shoes, but because of the damn economy, they said I have a budget of $80. I was looking into the 2011 Hyperfuse Low top's. There are a lot of good shoes $80 or under, I just needed some help deciding. I play shooting guard and point guard, mostly shooting guard though. Thanks A lot! Love your reviews!

  • @CoolBoiiProduction - I would try looking on ebay for something that you want that may retail for over your budget bc you never know if you will find a deal or not. If you find nothing then Id start looking at Finishline first, they drop prices on products sooner than the rest. If your parents are willing to put a lil more $ into it you can get a great shoe, Kobe 6s, for $99 at Foot Locker... looks for coupons online as well that you can use on the purchase.

  • should i get these or hyperfuse 2011? im a point guard and shooting guard

  • @bballcrb - They are both good but for me personally, I had better playing time while wearing the Hyperfuse.

  • Comment removed

  • @bballcrb I recommend Hyperfuse 2011 dude

  • @aikman47 - Thanks! I would go with the Hyperdunk, they are a very versital shoe.

  • Hey Nightwing i was wondering what is the best shoe youve ever used as far as durability and speed

  • @IMakeTheDing2 - Prob the Soldier 3... I used those outdoors and they held up great. If I felt like cleaning them off theyd prob still look perfectly fine. They are also light enough that it felt great, even as a G.

  • 7:21 you said you kept pincing a nerve is it because of the bumby thingies inside the shoe that keep making pinching your nerve? cause i have a pair of hyperdunks and i also keep pinching a nerve in my foot and i think it is the bumbpy thingies insid the shoes? what do u think @ nightwing2303?

    pls comment back thany you

  • @therealdeal3161 - No, the heel notches were great. The laces were what was cutting something off while laced tightly and it would cause my foot o go numb.

  • Do you plan on reviewing the APL concept 1s?

  • @BRAZEN08 - Prob not, at least not anytime soon. Too many real hoop shoes need to be reviewed first.

  • Crazy lights hell yeah! :D

  • Hyperdunks or Crazy Lights?

  • @infalet - I prefer the Hyperdunk personally.

  • LEBRONS= CRAZY AWESOME

  • @nightwing2303 have u seen the fly wade 2 they look fresh. r u gonna do a review on them?

  • @joeyj607 - I love all three new sigs! You bet ill be doing a review!

  • What would b after the q flights....

  • @airjordan23III - The Rose 2s have been sent out to me so I should get those afterwards. Also expect to get the Jordan 8.0, LeBron 9 and a few others.

  • You do awesome reviews, your not biased at all (i.e. Under Armour micro G Clutch review), you know all of the science that goes into a shoe and that's great to have that insight available to all hoopers. I would like to implore you if you could do a review for the new Brandon Jennings sneaker "Under Armour Micro G Bloodline" sometime during 2012.

  • @MrBallizlife - Thanks! I will try to get to those as soon as I can. Im backed up right now with kicks so I will get to everything eventually.

  • can you make a review for the hyperfuse??

    please!!!

  • @TheGerardDavid - No I wont be, they are too similar to the original. You can read a performance breakdown on my site, nightwing2303 dot c o m on the Hyperfuse 2011 as I compare them to the OG version.

  • @flaminhot14142 - Thanks!

  • what would you like bettr jordan fly wades or these?

  • @TheMiamiHeatFan361 - I prefer the Fly Wade over the Hyperdunk... Im not really a fan of Hyperdunks in general but they are great shoes.

  • @noodles356 - Not in the material sense. The midsole was a bit chunky after playing in lighter weight shoes like the Kobes and whatnot but it wasnt anything you wont get used to.

  • Great review, as always and cant wait for the next one!

  • @Aerseus - Thanks!!

  • i got a pair of the same bg32 hyperdunks, they were my first pair of hyperdunks. i dont play ball anymore, so i havent played in them but i wish was able bc they feel like great bball shoes! good review!

  • @kaOnye - Thanks!

  • nice hyperdunk 2011 vid dope vid

  • @Jordunk23 - Thanks!

  • do these have good durability?

  • @TheMiamiHeatFan361 - Yes, very durrable uppers. Midsole was a bit soft though and will take damage when you play in them.

  • I was on Eastbay looking at these and it said to go up half a size because they run small. Is this correct or do they run true to size? I hate wearing shoes that don't fit right because that's how I fractured my ankle so I'm really picky about this stuff.

  • @MSUSpartans43 - They fit true to sz. They state they are a bit narrow so wide footers may want to go up 1/2 sz. This is where it is best to try on in store when possible.

  • I tried these on at sports authority. The heel to toe transition is AMAZING, by just simply walking in them

  • Awesome performance review, as always bro. I really want a pair of 2011s. The Volt are my personal choice.

    Always enjoy your videos.

  • @mightycol - Those volts are sweet! Thanks man, appreciate it!

  • @mj23td21jk6 - Thanks!!

  • nice shoe nightwing. im thinkin bout gettin the hyperdunk on nikeid. do you know if the glow in the dark material is worse traction than the solid material?

  • @oDDmahnsta - I think the glow in the dark material is solid rubber so you should be good.

  • hyperdunk 2011 or hyperfuse 2011?

  • @Ra1ndropz - I havent used the Hyperfuse 2011, however, they are the same as last yr. I did write on them on my site a while back, nightwing2303 dot c o m.

  • I tested these out for Nike a while back and overall great shoes but if I had to say some cons were that when we think about "hyper dunk" we think lightweight, low to floor and quick...well IMO but also the toe box had a little too much room in it which when u laced it up tight it would bunch up. Also definitely the "rocker chair" type feel was a big no-no in my book. A theory can be that if they implement this design maybe it keeps the players moving forward which makes them move faster...that

  • @basketballphile - I didnt like the rocking feeling at all eaither. They werent that low to the ground as well which was something I had to get used to. For those who hoop in HDs regularly, this wouldnt be a problem. The toe was better fitting than last yrs but still a bit loose. Not enough to hurt my play but enough to notice it.

  • Great review as usual >just one question. Whats up with the keyboard typing noise in the background.

  • @pupoy11 - Thanks! Thats my cam lense auto focusing.

  • thanks I think i will get the kobe 6

  • love the reviews, what about the hyperfuse 2011s?

  • @LLR345209 - Thanks! I will not be playing in those since they are too close to the previous version. I did a write up on them on my site though, nightwing2303 dot c o m.

  • Hey man nice review keep them up! ..I was wondering if you take requests for your reviews? If you do, then I have a not so new one...the nike zoom lebron vi.

best sneakers I've played in my life, I wanted to know if you would feel the same.

  • @This7is7my7Insanity - I usually review the latest shoe(s) since that is what most people are trying to purchase. I do have plans to go back and review older shoes sometime in the future, just not at this time... mainly bc a lot of the older shoes, like LeBrons, I dont have. I pretty much have mostly Jordans and some newer Nike, adidas and Under Armour.

  • @nightwing2303 yeah, older signture shoes are hard to get, anyways I still feel like those are the best in the lebron line, even for a guard like myself. If you were to somehow find a pair i would to see that review. And the Under Armour line is looking solid especially because they are affordable, I wear the supersonics.

  • @TooleIrish - Yes they do. Also avail on NikeiD as well with outsole material options if you wanted to go that route.

  • @F4STBREAK - Thanks bro!

  • good review mann keep it up
