A beautifull wonderfull song. its was so populare here in my childhood. She has a very good voice- - ger,am is so nice language. but difficult... gramma
"Nie , my nie jesteśmy Romeo i Julia ,nie , nie o nas pisał Szekspir"....To były czasy mojej młodości! Słuchało , tańczyło się i marzyło o tym co za "żelazną kurtyna"Super! DANKE!!!
Not the original song but nevertheless it reminds me of the days with my best friend florian - both born in 1982 - (we loved and still love the old "schlager"-music)!!
unbelievible...this song and peggy march, i heard it when i was 14 and in the 6. class of my school. now i'm 55 and like to hear this beautiful song still again..
peggy march is accompaning me trough my hole life...
thanks you , peggy and i hope to hear enough so many new song of you...
all the best for you and your husband and manager arnie
LOTS of American artists have recorded in other languages. Connie Francis had albums in several languages, etc. This is just beautiful. I grew up in Illinois where there were many people of German descent who worked in the coal mines and who owned beautiful farms. They did speak English though.
this brings back memories of when i was at Rheinland Kaserne, Ettlingen..use to hear at the kleine knipe..oh the 60's waren wunderbar..that is one reason i still go back at least every other year since '68..gruss from Texas
This is a fantastic song/video as are all her songs both sides of the pond namely i will follow him,mit 17 hat man noch traume, memories of heidelburg and carnaby street.
She's American, but her music was especially popular in Germany, so she recorded a lot of music specifically for the German market, where she continued to be a big star for much longer than in America.

I love her song "Male Nicht Den Teufel an die Wald." Boyd Rice mentioned it once on the radio and I'm hooked on Peggy March now.
