yea thats about as easy as it can get if you lay down the melody (chords) first then the rest will fall in line and u can add your percussion and fillers next. Good way to explain it. I am a music minor so to me that seemed simple in doing first when starting a beat.. this beat u r making now it nice..i like that weird noise in the back.lol is that some type of synth PAD

you don't really need that x8 all you really need is fl studio and a midi controller that a 3400.00 keyboard that's a work station by its self. so you have to work stations but you are not using the keyboards workstation,lol i am guess you got the keyboard first,lol but 3400.00 can buy you a very powerful music production computer along with the right daw will smash any keyboard or instrument hands down.

@demonslayer6126 its not free. frooty loops is a DAW, (digital audio workstation), a computer program made for recording music. they cost money! Personally i prefer sonar home studio, there are lots of programs.
