This medication is dangerous! Most pediatricians will not prescribe it. Some of the side effects are actually really dangerous. Not worth risking over wet sheets. My son's doctor said this and told us to try a bedwetting alarm instead.

i knew someone who wet his bed till he was 12, his parents thought it was some bladder problem so they took him to the doctors, they found out a week after getting tests done he had diabeties. so Diabeties is also a cause of bed wetting. Most parents wouldnt know that till they actually took their child to the doctors.

Poor kid, I'm a mom and I know that kids sometimes wet the bed but there is some kind of connection with abuse and bedwetting too! especially sexual abuse of a young boy by a man he respects that in some cases causes bedwetting! so maybe the parents should be checked out by SOCIAL SERVICES!

do they know stress is one of the things that can cause bed wetting and them no being supportive is putting more stress on him so he will continue to wet just give some diapers and it will be fine pills cause more problems then they are worth and the body will become more dependant on them instead of trying to adapt

My parents were always very understanding when I had accidents. I can't remember once them ever saying anything to the effect of it being any of my fault. They probably had the same problem, and both remembered how horrible it felt to wake up wet and be afraid of what their parents may think. I was never given diapers for wetting, but I didn't wet but perhaps twice a month, until I was about 13. My parents put the plastic sheet under my sheets, so the mattress never got wett.
