Dang, layers are so cool, their implication is much more than one thing, I know I am kinda linking into the comment below me, but it is very significant in this video, because there are already so many effects you can use like drop shadow, stroke path etc, using multiple layers with such diverse tools and techniques, also adding vibrant colors, will take your image/text to a whole other level, very beneficial.....
From watching this video, I learnt how to make my text creative, by changing the opacity, and giving them stroke. I also really enjoyed drawing the rectangle extension from the letters, and I'm sure I'll be able to use what I've learnt today, in the future when I want to enhance my texts!
I thought the layering of the text was really hard, i had to try a few times to get it right, but I like the use of the rectangle tool, it gives a whole new look to the picture!
I really liked this tutorial because it was so creative and fun to just go with the flow. I liked flipping the R and making it longer so that it ran off the page. It looked so unique.
I really liked making the shadow layer for my artist name. It makes a really cool effect!! Additionally, I liked flipping one of my letters backwards. That was pretty cool :D
The topography we can do by using such simple tools is amazing! I love that I can use photoshop on a computer to do things that I used to do only on paper by hand.
It's really neat to see how easy it is to create something so complex-looking! I especially enjoyed the drop-shadow effect of the duplicated layer, and the letter reversal.
I had a lot of fun making this CD cover. Grunge looks really interesting. At first it looked really complicated and I was worried at how I would do this. But once I did the steps, I realized how simple it was!
This tutorial helped teach me things like the grunge effect, and how reverse letters, add effects like making parts longer, and add "shadow" to text. Learned how to change color for one letter, and making copies of others as well. Very fun and helpful.
This tutorial really helped me be creative on an open template and create a CD cover-like effect! The faded background pattern image created a good, vintage, and professional looking effect. I liked how the text can be edited and stretched out to making an interesting shape with the intersecting lines. The combination of words, graphics, and photos really gave me inspiration and got me thinking about my actual CD cover.
I think this tutorial really showed me the different things I could do to my CD. It was a cool effect that the grunge gave me. I never knew that word before.
I learned a lot of things that involve using texts. Making copies of it and changing the opacity, color, having shapes come out of it, etc was all round fun and easy to do.
I learned how to use stroke as well as invert a letter. The inverting letter effect is really cool because it really gives a better view visually. Thus this tutorial provideda whole new set of options for the cd cover.
I learned how to use strokes to bolden the text, how to highlight just one letter, how to invert a letter, and how to extend a letter using rectangle tool.
From this video, I learned how to use my text tools to make a style out of it. I learned that by using shapes, my text can be creative instead of being plain and bland. I learned many other things but those stuck out to me the most. I will use these techniques on my CD cover to make a better CD.
I thought that this tutorial was very helpful in making titles and text more flashy and interesting. I also learned that layers can even help in changing how the shapes of letters be more effective and easy to use in photoshop.
This tutorial taught me a lot about being creative with my pages and texts. I used to only know the simple effects of changing the styles of our words. But this tutorial taught me to think outside of the box and change our words in any way we want! I think this will really help me with my CD covers.
I learned how to change certain letters of the writing and make them stand out more. I also learned how easy it is to change the things you have done by transforming them or making them fit better.
I learned how to alter text and lengthen or change the shape to have better wording on my CD cover and how to stroke the text and make the text color and stroke color blend together
I learned that colors can influence the whole tone of the picture. Also I learned that making creative texts, background, and images are significantly important.
This video helped me learn how to put some different textures on the background and make your CD look neat and cool. I also liked the stroke tool which outlined the lines we drew to make the text look thicker and more neater.
This video helped me to learn how to use the tools on Photoshop to create different texts. This tutorial definitely helps us to practice how to make cool texts. It will help us when making the CD covers.
