  • Ive made mine out of a CD, cause my guitar is compatible with all formats :DD

  • which should i use to rip blu-rays?

  • @Blackatz21 a blu ray.

  • My computer won't open any dvd-r cd what sould i do?!

  • Why they have to make things difficult? why not just a DVD that is both?

  • @baorichy7 cos that would be a new disk. the main problem is pre 2004 stuff pritty much only works with -r. so you cant make +r that will work with -r. it just doesnt happen

its like saying i want an sd card that fits into a sony memory stick slot.

  • Wich one is better for movies dvd-r or dvd+r? Thanks

  • @jloza98 did u find the answer? i also want to know..

  • can u help me I don't think my DVD-R is working because I to record my gameplay but when I press record and then stop recording it doesn't save the gameplay on the DVD please help,I need it

  • well its wise if u just wanna backup file useing -R .. i realy have prob when burning files on +R .. Coroupted half way burning always happed to me even at 2.4x speed .. i just use pendrive to watch movies on my player ... :P

  • +R has always worked better for me. I use verbatim data-life plus ones. Only get a coaster every 100 disc or so.

  • By the way, the guy in the video said it wrong. it's not pronounced dvd dash r .

it is pronounced dvd minus r and dvd plus r .

hence the plus and minus signs

  • My house has 3 dvd players. of those 2 would not play dvd+r discs and 1 would freeze while trying to play dvd+r disc. dvd - r plays fine in all players. that is why I stay away from dvd+r discs

  • @cactus9889 you kidding me? +r plays fine with any players I put in. I always have problems with -r cause my family videos kept freezing every 2-5min and sometimes it just eject out and stated not readable. The only reason I buy -r is to do backup files.

  • @hangc10 nope not kidding you. that is crazy we both have problems with opposite discs

  • where can you buy scratch-less DVD

  • @camboy1132 NASA

  • where can i games data to burn and can i get it off the game discs them self ?

  • So you don't need both of them?

  • ---- which is better to record video games. ---

  • so if you trying to burn a clip to your DVD. which one would you use?

  • @superstephanie101 either i use dvd-r but you can choose either

  • can i save video "data" file in dvd-r?

  • @ShallaMalla031 it may not be compatible with your dvd drive.

  • @PYourSong lol I know :P

  • I just found out that DVD+R is not good when burning .ISO Files

  • @PYourSong I think you're wrong, i always use DVD+R (for years) never had any problem with ISO files.

  • stop looking at the sign

  • basically dvd-r are better for burning games

and dvd+r basically for burning movies..

  • @Huero082886 I wanna record the world cup on my tv using my dvd player it has a record feature so which DVD type should i get and wanna record the games n then edit it later to make videos on my PC. Any advice on what to do to edit the video and which DVD type to buy?

  • can dvd+r be played in ps2?????????

  • Me neither. Why is there still two then... Shouldn't the + be the only one out?

  • i still dont get the diffrent >_>

  • So barely any difference that's good to know.

  • i cant burn stuff on dvd-r

    help

  • @knightfall23 download express burn

  • I have the same problem. I have made a movie but i cant get it into my editor!

  • Haha, maybe we should combine our PCs so we can play DVD - R and DVD + R :D

  • lmao foreal haha

  • thanks man

  • The DVD+R disc is mainly meant for data storage in non-VideoDVD formats because these have another booktype number.

Of course, if a modern DVD Player or -Recorder can play these types of DVD as well there is no limit to what data type ever is recorded there. Legacy DVD Players of first Generations can't deal with DVD+R discs!

  • DVD-R (single and double layer) are DVDs compatible to the Standard DVD Video booktype formats, containing a code track for copy protection (the macrovision sector e.g.). This is also standard to the video DVD (SL/DL) booktypes. On these recordables, the macrovision sector is cancelled out (except on special mastering DVD-R(Authoring) media for copyrighted small-volume music production with licensed use of a copy-protection system which is applied in place during the burning process).

  • When you put movies on the dvd+r the dvd player cannot read them but if you put movies on to the dvd-r it works

i dont know the reason why but this is what happened to me

  • @conorjoshMUFC Yea with my dvd(an older one)only dvd-r works well

  • thanks

  • which should i use if i burn Wii Games??

  • You should use dvd-r ......... i think?? well +r wasnt working 4 me

  • @CoolMan22188 use dvd-r

    dvd+r gives disc error problems

  • @CoolMan22188 dvd-r

  • @CoolMan22188 I used DVD+R and work great!

  • @CoolMan22188

None! Fucking dip shit. Buy your fucking games instead of stealing them!

  • @wii8461 lol thats fucking funny.

  • @CoolMan22188 DVD-+=/*RWXRWXRWX.

  • @CoolMan22188 You should use DVD-R because DVD+R can damage the lenses on the wii, so then you can't play any games

  • can a dvd+r hold music?

  • nope

  • um...yes it can

  • well thanks

  • well i had a cd-r that worked good but wasn't enough space so i bought some dvd+r which i though were good. My dell says it cant transfer the video files whats wrong?

  • so you cant make a dvd-r and a dvd-r cant be watched on a dvd player

  • The DVD+R is typically more expensive than the DVD-R.

  • 99p store each in a pack (contains 5)

  • not find answers to my question

    i need now

  • lol thank you white guy, u made me day

  • good work 100% correct information.
