Sorry to disappoint you, but that´s a total myth; he never got tested, so nobody can possibly know his "IQ", which leads me to my second point. IQ tests are garbage, highly subjective and they usually measure only certain areas of intelligence. Psychologists are still debating about the definition of "intelligence", don´t even talk about measuring it.

Seriously, do your research. There are books about it, articles. A high score on an IQ test doesn´t mean that you are intelligent, it means that you´re good at resolving IQ tests. I don't think Andy Warhol ever made any serious political stance. I think the closest he came was to emphasize that he liked the democratic nature of US society, which is in line with the "money for everyone" statement.

He once said that the great thing about the US is that the upper class consume the same products as the lower class. We all drink Coke, for example. That's what he liked about Pop culture, that it unites us all.
