I have an iphone, and i really like it, but some things just totally PWN iphone, like this emulator, it really looks amazing. As for apple, apple macbooks usually have cool features, but in gaming, windows will pwn apple when it comes to hardware.

@thegoodbear1 fpsece needs very "pure" iso. In the fpse.ini file, put DisableLogo=on to DisableLogo=off, see what boot screen you have then when starting a working game (the yellow logo, then the PSX logo in colors and playstation written at the bottom). When you start an iso and don't see both start screen completly, your iso is corrupted (happens often if you download roms)

Now it's full speed, like more than 300 PSX games, including driver 1 and 2, gran turismo 1 and 2, all full speed, etc

bro you think i like ipad? yes it sucks i realized it from just a look, but speaking of iphone ure really wrong, many people including me hated it now i got my 3GS and i love it, i dont even know what word lag means, all games are super fast and super stable, and the games themselves are creme de la creme.. Your emulator and PSX games yes they are old good games but you soon realize how uncomfortable you are playing them on the non-multitouch screen and etc.. theres no iphone killer and wont be

also the htc touch hd2 with 1GHz went after 3GS and still even with that amount of power, there are barely any new cool games or software.. 1GHz is not enough to run 800x650 or whatever resolution game, lets take quake3 for example.. i dont think it will run smoothly with that resolution... there are rumors about summers upcoming iphone with 2GHz silicon type of processor, now that one is not just all phone killer but also a vast kings of laptops killer as well.. PS.iphone got emulators also ;)

Exactly, how many WM will come out before apple does, thats what makes it exclusive. My 3GS has 600Mhz cpu and 256 MB of accessible ram, also it has the light version of the graphics accelerator from nokia N95/97, which are another devises that can compete with iphone or/and be better, but not windows mobile and your unstable omnia with 600mhz cpu and bigass resolution which requires more cpu than 600, 600 makes iphone stable, it wont make screen that big stable +its laggy windows

and dude i used windows mobile, it wasnt a phone for fun, it wasnt for media, it wasnt for games, i dont even fucking know what that shit was for, the only thing that was good about it that no one could find my porn on it.. browsing internet was pain in the ass, making skype calls was horrible, games were hideous and i can go on for ever, windows mobile is nonsense, especially should be for you as you are such a heavy game player, ure doing a big stupid mistake you could convert those games

iphone is not powerful enough to get such results....except by using the trick Zotddt is using, but the result is that you have only some 10 compatible games, when more than 300 were tested for fpsece and run full speed on the HD2

I bet you had a WinMo device before WinMo 6.5 was out. I mean devices like the HD2 are extremly stable and whatever you may believe, many WinMo devices are just really much powerful than the Iphone, even with 800x640 screens

I have multitouch on my HTC HD2 ( especially for fpsece) and I can play more than 300 ps1 games, I think these games are cool^^

I also have more ram, a bigger screen, a much more powerful CPU, much more possibilities for hacking, modifying, tweaking, changing wathever I want (I can have the exact iphone look if I want), etc

As for popularity, blame apple's marketing!

But what's the most important is to be happy with the devices we like, you with your iphone, me with my Windows Mobile devices

LDchen tried it on older versions of Windows Mobile, so it's supposed to work with Windows mobile 2003. If you have a hardware keyboard, you can use it, but you can't use any virtual onscreen keyboard

@chrismon0 Yes, a minimum amount of RAM is needed, but your device is supposed to have more than 16MB free Ram, can you verify it in your device memory settings?

Then try using VGA gfx drivers in FpseCE options.

PXA312 624Mhz on this video with my samsung Omnia.

If you watch my 4 last vids, you'll see the same game running complete full speed and full screen on the 1000Mhz Snapdragon processor of the toshiba TG01 (in fact, it can run 90 fps on the TG01 if the speed is not limites to PAL or NTSC max speed of 50 or 60 fps)

If you have a device without hardware buttons like mine, it's better, but you can use harware buttons if you have some, or use a virtual on-screen pad

There will always be a small grey part on the screen, just because the original PSX was meant to fit 4/3 displays, not WQVGA like the omnia. You could stretch the image, but it would look bad.

But I've read that Samsung may release a WinMo version of the Omnia HD, and more, they will release the Omnia pro, or Omnia louvre, with a keyboard, HD screen, and 800Mhz CPU.

La version 1.0 n'est pas encore en téléchargement, mais ça avance vite.

*Cette version n'est pas spécifique au Samsung i900, fpsece marche avec n'importe quel appareil Windows Mobile assez puissant pour que ça rame pas

*Avant cette version, driver tournait environ 10 fps de moins sur mon portable

Au passage, un tout récent reglage de Schtruck a permis de gagner des fps, il tourne entre 45 et 50 fps maintenant.

Yes, some games don't even need frameskip, some need. Some can handle frameskip 'till 8 or 9, some will lag after 3.

But it's easy to find the goos settings as you can see
