1992-1993 was an excellent period for music! Sandy Lam, Faye Wong, & Sally Yeh were at the top, okay, TOP of the mountain as far as the female vocalists are concerned. Anyone who says Sandy can't sing is either on crack or... No, they have to be on drugs of some sort.

She actually can sing higher than this performance nowadays. I think she practices a lot of restraint so that she doesn't go over the top and shout. For most singers, their voice deteriorates as they age, Sandy's become better and more "flexible" so to speak. She can expand her repertoire of songs.

I do not agree. Sandy's voice cannot do what it could in the past. That said, she is still an amazing singer; her range, however, has decreased.

the top note is just a C sharp, she can surely do it now, No problem. In her recent concerts in her 說像你好or 玫瑰香 she has sung notes (more beautifully) nearly as high AT EASE (e.g. B flat) yes its still a couple of whole tones below that C sharp. But now Sandy sang those top notes easily and I am real sure she could reach a couple of notes higher, no problem. I am a guy and I can reach that

One main reason she no long sings this because she no longer need to show off how technically strong she is. Everyone knows this. She is more keen to touch the bottom of your hearts. 'good technique show off' shall be left for GEM or the like nowadays.

Now this is the Sandy Lam look that I truly love to look at waking up, the sexy soft curls that she has makes her look like a true diva, which she really is back then and she still is today. Her current pixie style is OK, but I find that her diva hair in this video more sizzling.
