Personally I always fixate on a point to the right, whether I'm remembering, speculating or imagining. That or I look around/most likely look at the person. Additionally, I'm part of the group that believe that this is bulls**t, as I have tried it out on friends, family, (others on myself when I wasn't aware of the eye idea) and strangers for a report and have found that its really just chance.

Their eyes are always moving... everyone does this, but the movement is very subtle and it does take some training to notice it... but it's so much FUN :)

Yeah, it can be a bit confusing at first - it just takes a bit of practice and watching others. After you do this for a few days you're brain will get the idea and start doing it automatically.
